Applejack's Freckles/Prototypes

Has anyone else painted freckles on their Applejack? I did a few months ago using Wite Out and an old pen. I was really unhappy that she didn't come with Freckles, but looking at the prototype, it looks like she originally came with freckles and different eyes:

I think I would have liked the prototypes better, because they seem better made. I really love that Celestia, too.

Looks like Celestia is was still pink, but at least it was a pearly pinkwhite and her armor was painted. I wish the one in stores looked more like that, I'm still waiting to find one on sale and customize her.

I can't believe they didn't put freckles on Applejack >.>

Yes, I'm also really disappointed that they didn't bother to give her freckles. Would it have cost them that much more? >:[

And that Celestia definitely looks much better than the one we got.

She would've looked so cute with freckles! I did notice that she appears to be the only g4 with painted eyebrows so maybe they opted for those instead :/
