G2 Are the G2s 1999 McDonald's ponies rehairable?

I've been wanting to get the entire set of the McDonald's G2 ponies, but they have Polypropylene hair and since they're made of hard plastic i don't know if rehairing them is an option. I know that the 1998 set is rehairable, at least Light Heart. But are these ones?

I don't have any of these to confirm, but if they're hard plastic, I imagine you'd need to either split them along the seam or cut existing hair as close as possible to the root and shove into the body to rehair. You'd need to create a weft with tape or glue for the mane.

Thank you! I think i'll be able to do it the same way people reroot Dream Beauties, since they're hard plastic.
