Are you going to the MLP Fair this weekend?

I wish you were going too! It really depends who you ask as to whether it's major or minor, but I consider anything where they open you up and remove an entire organ to be rather major, at least in my experience.
I agree! although everything is major to me with surgery. I have some blood drawing/surgery phobias. I'd be in horrible shape if I was in your shoes. I hope you feel better!

I wish I was going. I hope everyone has a great time!

So wishing everyone a super amazing fantastic 30th anniversary - just w-O-w - ofatime!!! and grab lotsa freebies :)

(well ya know, so there's enough to go around but yay for fair freebies!!!) :smilepony:

Well if I end up with extras of anything they will end up right here on the TP of course :winkpony:

I wish I was going. I'm sure I'll get around to it someday. All of you who are going, have fun! I can't wait to see pictures :smilepony:

Have fun folks, & bring back pics for the rest of us!

Please make it in major city next time like LA or Chicago where it is easy to fly to! It would cost over 800 to go to these small cites ;_-

Greetings from the Fair, everybody! :)

Things are busy here in Indianapolis, but Sweet Tune and her crew have pulled everything off without a hitch. We've played games, entered contests, seen presentations and even got to hang out with the creator of My Little Pony and the CEO of EnterPlay! There has been so much to do that it's hard to find a moment to sit down and write about it!

There's a pajama party going on right now, but my post-surgery body isn't holding up quite as well as I had hoped, so I am sitting it out in the interest of an early night, for what will undoubtedly be another huge day tomorrow.

To everyone who has found there way here via our little MLPTP lollipop giveaways, welcome! We are happy to have you and greatly look forward to your contributions to our community. :smilepony:

Wow! Where are you coming from? I fly round trip from Richmond, VA to Indianapolis or Fort Wayne fairly regularly and I definitely don't pay $800!

I love Chicago but I'm terrified of LA. Never even been there and it scares me. I've been watching too many movies!

I 'm from Canada :) Winnipeg, Manitoba (blech) Since they don't have direct flights it is pretty expensive to get to connecting flights. I have been to both actually. Not scary at all :) just some areas are sketchy but there are plenty of people around and many good areas. Nothing worse than Higgans and Main/Logan area here. I have gone 3 times now twice for a convention and once for a concert. I flew to LA Rounbdtrip last year around this time at $450-ish.

I cannot wait for all the brag/super haul pics :)

happy and safe travels to everyone!!

I admit I grabbed more than one MLPTP magnet but I left lollipops for the newbies. I just was excited to have something that said MLPTP on it because it's my favorite online community besides my own blog.

I'm sorry you weren't feeling well, I only ran into you once and was hoping to see you around more, but there's always next year! I wanted to win some of the loot you donated at the pajama party raffles, but I had no luck with any raffles or balloon pop numbers this year.

When you said my name my eyes went straight to the pony on your lanyard and I recognized it from your signature on the TP and that's when I went "OH hey" so now I have a face to put with the username and images. I found it kind of funny I recognized your ponysona first!

Hi Pinkie! Apologies if I startled you, I recognized you because of your hair! And Pony Fair gets so terribly busy it's hard to tell if you'll bump into someone more than once, so I thought I would say hello :)

Also, I've started my own thread detailing this weekend's adventures, if anyone is interested: http://www.mlptp.net/forums/show-tell/102095-my-mlp-fair-2013-adventure-pics-new-post.html

I will never attend a mlp meet. I just got word that one of my customs was floating around there from someone else who bought one from my beginner days, and people were lolligagging making snide remarks about it elsewhere.

No thank you.

@ lightningsilver, OUCH, that's very painful. I'm very sorry you had this happen. However, no matter where one goes in life, there are mean people--yes, even in ponyland--and, to put it politely, MEAN PEOPLE SUCK. They're all over the internet, too, (trust me, we've "met" our fair share) but that doesn't make it a 100% bad place anymore than the MLP fair. I hope someday you will change your mind and come to one, if circumstances permit, as there are far more nice, fun people there than otherwise. *hugs* to you. What a horrid thing to hear about.

Apparently people were talking about how someone was "trying to push one of my customs on to them" so I just contacted the person and offered that they just mail it back to me

Not sure what good that would do. But a part of me just doesn't want any of my customs showing up there. Ever

And trust me, it's because of the internet that I know not to go... the people making the remarks were ones that have been causing problems for me years on end.

I've come to the conclusion that it's just too much back stabbing...
