G4 ARTICULATED PONIES?!

Is the rumor true? Are there articulated ponies now? My small weakness.... With ponies?! *squee*

Anyone has pics?
 
Oh goodness I sure hope Hasbro does this right. Lately with toys that are more articulated I find that their limbs fall off with little or no effort. Sometimes at night I will hear a bloooooooooop and wallaaaa the arm to my doll is on the floor. They are cute and the possibilities are endless for some fun with that. I wonder what plastic is going to be used and how that will look compared to vinyl. Is it just me or does anyone think that AJ's apple tree is super odd looking?

The tree is from that FIM set from a month ago. And did anyone see that swan boat? PRETTY
 
Huh, those look interesting. I might pick up Coco Pomell at least, possibly a Twilight too.

Is it just me that think they look a little... Cheap? :S I'm kinda expecting to see a lot of these little ponies without limbs for sale on Ebay 20 years from now :p

I do love that swan boat though. Must... have... shiny... new... swanboat. :D

This is my thought also. I just am not as confident that the toys will last 20 years lol. Lets just hope.
 
I am so pumped for these! I need that Coco Pommell and Rainbow Dash with tank! I think they'll be awesome!

I think (hope) they will look good in person. The G4 prototype pics always look a bit weird to me.

I'm glad there's a brushable-sized Coco, and I love Tank! (Fluttershy appears to have a new Angel Bunny too, I wish they'd have done Owl for Twilight too).

Seems fun, but I'll pass since I've moved on from G4.

I've always wondered why they don't make ponies with solid soft plastic bodies that have a metal wire inside, allowing you to pose and bend the legs (not sure I'm making this very clear). They're free of joints but still fully poseable.

I'm remember having a little Pink Panther figure with wires inside the arms and legs and the tail. Had so much fun as a kid twisting him into all kinds of poses :D
