AWESOME thrift store finds!!!

I decided to go a little out of my way, today, and stop by this one thrift store... and OH MY GOD I AM SO GLAD I DID... There a motherload of G1 (and a few G3) ponies there! I left a lot there, because I already had them. I only grabbed the bags that contained a pony I knew I didn't have (or was unsure of, in 1 or 2 cases). They're all in rather rough condition, and need some TLC, but... but I found!!!

-cough- Getting a little ahead of myself, here. :winkpony:


For this first batch, I actually have all these ponies already, so I'll be giving these girls a very thorough wash + styling... make sure they look all nice and pretty! I'll compare them to what I do have, and then I'll be putting them up on my sales page once all the cleaning + comparing + photographing, etc, is done. :smilepony:

BUT THIS... These here... OMG. These are the ones I'm keeping! Some of them are in rather rough shape. Poor baby Quackers has her hair almost all hacked off! :( But as soon as I saw this one hanging there on the shelf... AAAAAAH!

MIMIC! I FOUND A MIMIC!! I never ever thought I'd get her! Let alone in a thrift store! :shockpony: The poor girl's actually a bit marked up in some substance, I don't know what... I'm just hoping it comes off. Her tail and mane have also been cut, but... IT'S MIMIC!! :D I am just... SO THRILLED!!! :LOL: I'm happy at finding all these ponies - my luck has been pretty good, lately! But this is just amazing. I'm still so blown away! XD [dances in a circle excitedly]

HOLY GUACAMOLE! MIMIC! :shockpony::shockpony::shockpony: And the others are all great too!

I don't know that 'awesome' is a good enough adjective here. We may need something even more grand to describe this. Stupendous! Transcendent! Magnificent!

I'm so happy for you, I'm practically doing a dance as well!

Excellent finds, not only is a good amount of G1's hard to find in a thrift store, but to get a Mimic among them. And that sparkle pony (I forget the name) is a nice one as well. Very excellent finds. :cool:
 
Oh wow, you're so lucky! I love finds like this. I was volunteering sorting stuff at a thrift store once, and a lot of pristine condition G1's floated through the sorting, I kept them aside and asked if I could have them or how much I'd have to pay for them.

It's so awesome coming across things like that. Not as easy to do at swapmeets or antique stores though... those people pay attention to actual values of such things :winkpony:

Usually though I merely only dream of such pony finds. :smilepony: You've got so many awesome ponies in that find, teehee~
 
Hee hee! Thank you, everyone! :D Yeah... I'm still so stunned that I managed to find so many, and Mimic on top of it all! Wooooooooow.... [spins excitedly]

I would have thrown up, then peed my pants, and then thrown up again and finally scream because I found her.... then be forced to buy her because I threw up on mimic...... ERMAGERd SO MANY G1S !!! congrats!

Thanks again, everyone. ^__^ Yeah... I dreamed of finding her this way, too... I just never imagined that the dream would come true! :D

-lol- Pretty much, what happened, when I found her... I was already going through all the other bags, checking if I had them or not. There were MLPs scattered everywhere on the racks, so I kept pushing bags aside and peeking around to find more. I glance up, see Mimic in the bag... it was in my cart in the next second. XD I didn't even pause to see what other ponies were packed in with her, or what condition she was in, because... Mimic. :LOL:
