Baby Cotton Candy’s U.S. Tour Update/Photo Thread!

Won't be long now before she reaches me.

And then I have an excuse to go to Niagara Falls! :D

Oh, I live IN Buffalo. It's a shame that she won't come in time for Winter Fest this weekend. Snowtubing off the expressway! Biggest ice maze EVER! :020: But possibly in time for Spring Flower Fest at the Botanical Gardens. Depending on the time she arrives, maybe even Easter Best day at the Gardens. That's when everyone dresses up in their 'Easter bonnet best'. Frills and flowers. Much fun!
 
Alright. Baby Cotton Candy is on her way to her next stop. And I have pictures. I apologize for taking a while, but I've been working a million times this past week. So because of that we didn't get to go to Hershey, but I still have pictures.

Ok, so here she is meeting.. well... me... and a few of the others in my mini-herd (It's mini cause most of my ponies are in storage).

(Sorry about how blurry it is). Don't worry.. she wasn't harmed. I think she was just sniffed at this point.

So, yesterday, I got a brand new pair of ice skates in the mail (which I can't wait to use.. I just need to send them out to get sharpened first.) And she decided she wanted to get a closer look. Thank goodness the blades are not sharpened yet and they had covers on them anyway.

After she checked them out, we decided to play Wii for a while. What other best thing to do on a snowy/windy night.

She totally kicked my butt, too. She's a good player :p

And finally, this morning I had to get up for work (though I only made it as far as the office and then called my boss to tell her that I wasn't going anywhere because of how snowy and disasterous the roads were.) She wanted to get up and go with me, and I was prepared to take her... then.. she got a good look at the clock when the alarm went off... and yes.. this is an AM time. And the little time on the bottom right hand side is what time the alarm went off this morning.

Well.. needless to say that she crawled back into bed and went back to sleep. She was still so sleepy, that I got her into her envelope to send to Phantasy and she never woke up. So, she had quite the restful vacation with me, so she's prepared for whatever Phantasy has planned for her.

Baby Cotton Candy is now with Phantasy! That means that she's in New York City! :) How exciting!
 
Ugh! The weather is NOT cooperating! Hopefully, Friday or Saturday will be good for getting into Central Park and mid town....
 
I just recently started keeping up with this thread, great pics everyone! I better start thinking of things to do with BCC, or else she'll have a pretty boring vacation here. Unfortunatley, if the weather keeps going the way it is, she'll hit right in the begining of mud season :p
 
Pictures!

Well, we managed to make our first trip into Mid-town today! I'm hoping we can get out again tomorrow and get a few things that it was too dark to capture tonight as well as getting in to Central Park. I LOVE playing "tour guide" in the City, so...there's WAY too much for me to post here. I set up a Flickr album for everything, so, go and take a look. :)

Wow, awesome pictures, Phantasy! New York looks like an exciting place to be, with so many places to see and so many things to do! I love how you took pictures of Baby Cotton Candy with so many prominent landmarks. I think I might have to visit New York myself someday! :)

And wow, the food in New York is expensive... almost $20 for a sandwich, yikes!

And the picture with the horse dung is just gross! :blah:
 
OM gosh there's way too much chocolate and goodies to be had in NYC...! I loved the swedish choc shop window--so pretty with all the flowers (And BCC of course), and my other two faves were the opera ghost reaching for her (LOL!!!) and BCC with ATlas. :) What a fun trip!

I had to lay down in the street to get that! (Well, it was a bike lane, really, so....I wasn't really in any danger, and I had a friend with me to make sure no one ran me over. *laugh*)
