Man, you guys. You would not believe the condition this little sweetheart was in when I got her. I honestly wish I had taken pictures long before I began the restoration process! She had a bad case of tail rust, and a mold/rust infection inside that was so bad, she was pretty much black in there. Her mane even had mold/rust coming through the plugs! It was just awful! I bought her for less than $5 with shipping, though, so it was a great deal!
She also had some highligher/marker/who-knows-what speckling her butt. So far, I haven't tried getting that off. But man, she's come a long way!
A bit of a scrub. A dab of 'Goof Off' on the tail rust and her tail is practically brand-new! It's proven somewhat difficult getting the rust/mold out of her mane, it still clings to the plugs a little down inside the holes, but she's so much nicer looking now. I was amazed at how perfect her mane and tail look! Uncut, soft, silky and shiny!
Her symbols will need a bit of touching up when I find the right colors of paint and glitter. But they're not as bad as they could be, all things considered. As soon as I find the camera, I'm gonna post pics so you guys can see just how good she's looking!
Honestly, I was considering baiting her, given her condition, but now that she's nice and clean and looking so good, I don't have the heart!
