Halloween was kind of a crummy day for me. I worked all day (and, thus, was unable to hand out candy) and had a long, rough shift to boot.

...then I came home to several pony packages from my new buddies here on MLPTP.

Nothin' but treats for me!

Here is my first set of baits:

I can't wait to restore these three! The white uni (Moonbeam? Not good with names yet) and the pink with green hair (Raspberry Jam?) have some brown stains on them. White uni needs some paint work, which is very exciting for me. I needed someone to practice on!

The best one, however, is the third one:

This is Baity McBaiterson from Baitsville, Baitsconsin. Look at all of those beautiful stains for me to experiment with! I have a couple of ideas.

...and it's a good thing I have her, too, because I have a couple of little marks on my keeper of the bunch:

UK Hopscotch! Look familiar?

I've decided to start an army of ponies with Scoutshine's coloration. I had no idea that such ponies existed and I'm so pleased with my first addition!

These were all so nice to come home to. They've all had their initial baths and now I'm getting ready to try something on Baity McBaiterson's stains.

Woo!

Awww! Give them some TLC! Pretty girls..

Can't wait to see how you can clean them up! So exciting, but seriously, someone had a field day with Banana Surprise huh?? I don't ever think I've seen that many marks on one pony! It almost looks like she's tie-dye! They sound like they're in great hands! :)

wow congrats on being an owner of a UK ponies. I love to get bait ones i have one i am using some acne cream on and it is zapping the age spots right off.

Thanks so much, everyone!

You know, I got Hopscotch for colors alone - but, now that I have her, I seem to have developed a hunger for more Euro ponies! My next goal is Baby Hopscotch, who I believe was a German/Austrian release only.

Have you had good luck with the acne cream? I'm reading so many conflicting reports about it.

Hopscotch!? ooohhh... mega jealous!! I'd love to have her! Best of luck to me trying to get her down at the bottom of the Southern Hemisphere though... har har.... ;)

Good luck with fixing them up. I'd be interested to see how you go with Banana Surprise - that's one artistic pony! I have a couple with some similar pen/felt/ink like stains (no where near as bad fortunately) that magic erasers won't even touch. Let us know how you go!

Have fun.

This looks like fun!

I was so happy when I read the word restore in your post. When I saw bait, I was thinking, "No they can be saved!" lol. I can't wait to see how they turn out.

Well, I've popped the heads off of the ponies - and we've got a bit of mold (black specks, larger and darker than pin dot) on the inside of Raspberry Jam. No outward signs of it.

I've got her in a vinegar/water mix in a covered container but am unsure how long to let her soak. The allergic response is starting to wane. :(

I had bad results using acne cream on G1 ponies with color other than white. It ruins the ponies so I don't recomment the use of that on any colored pony.

Nice treats!!!!! ;)
