Beanie Babies

A few months ago I decided to start a small collection of Beanie Babies cats.

The white kitty, Flip, just arrived and I consider my litter of kittens complete for now but there are so many cute beanies.
I’d love to see other people’s collections or favorites.
As a kid/teen I had a couple cats (missing my childhood Prance was what prompted me to build this collection) & frogs, and I always thought the lobster was super cool.

I love these laying beanies. Little kid me used to call beanies posed like this “the flatties” instead if “pillow pals” as they should have been

I’ve posted some of my beanies on this thread but I’ve swapped them since and they’re due a swap again actually. I have Siam on my shelf right now, I’ll post a picture here soon. Look out for an edit to this post

Here is the edit to the post. I would have taken Siam outside today for a photo for here but the sun is hurting my eyes today, so here is a shelf picture instead

I have a few favourites here like Cocoa and Ty2K. Teddy Teal has stuck around from last swap around and so did Ty2K. They’ve all recently had a dusting too. You can see Mac sticking his head up at the back there as well. Again, like with the other post in the link before, please excuse the Happy Meal Care Bears. Tiptoe is another favourite because of the tail, I loved stroking Tiptoe and holding like a real mouse too. Swampy has a great texture as well. Glow would glow but their tail/butt hasn’t had sunlight to actually do it

The jellyfish is so cool. I’ve always wondered what went into the decision to make his eyes that shape, so different from other beanies.

Me too, the eyes on Goochy have always made me wonder why. Maybe a normal eye would just look strange

So do I… but I’ve gotten good at following my rules in place for collecting them now. Only get if I seriously may regret leaving it, if it’s one I never managed to get before and still want, get it and if it’s Horse, Snake or Dragon Zodiac then get it because I’m still after those since childhood

I want a beanie belly! i dont have any, so i figured it would be okay if i got one in a swap box and i didnt actually buy it xD

I love the earlier beanie babies, they're so cute.

I have a collection in storage somewhere, but I don't think I have anything particularly rare or sought after except for Loong the dragon. I really want to find that one and my old Kaleidoscope, I regret putting them away!
