Bi-wing bearded pegasus - WIP

This bad boy has taken me FOREVER ( I want to say somewhere near 2 years ). I work on him in between my day job and my commission work, aaaaand I'm being super picky about his design, so now that the Fair is over for the year, there is no rush on him anymore ( the customizers panel at the Fair gave me a little kick in the head to re-plan out his color scheme and REALLY plan out what I want him to look like in the end ).

Wanted to wait until after the Fair to display him, as I HAD hoped to have him finished before then, but well... fate decided other wise ^^;. When will he be finished? HOPEFULLY soon, now that his painting is started.

That is truly amazing! Wow - Is there really a pony under there?

LOL! Yep, he originally was an in REALLY bad condition Starshine. Bad tail rust, body stains like crazy, looked like either a cat or dog tried to turn him into a chew toy or someone attacked him with a razor blade.

Hopefully, I'll have him finished before the NJ Pony Meet. Shall I bring him? ^_^

how on earth would you pack that? I'd be nervous that something would fall appart.. Thats just soo much detail.. Really nice. Take awesome pictures of him before you pack him up for the meet you are going to.
