Blind Bag Ponies have LANDED in the US! *Updated!*

Unfortunantely the Dunkirk, MD walmart STILL has no blind bags. I'm checking again tomorrow. Didn't get a chance to check out the other two. Any help for Southern Maryland is welcome :(

But I did find a lookalike blind bag pony set called Filly Princess or something at Target, they look so similar. No luck in Toys R Us either.
 
I found them yesterday in GF, ND! I bought all of them and the display box except the mane 6, Lemon Hearts and the purple flower one with green hair. I can't wait to figure out a display for them and my TRU boxed set.

The blind bags are available in Kentucky. I was able to get them all. The only one missing from the box was #24 and I got an extra #23.
 
Question!!! Do the Mane 6 pony's cards look the same on the back in the US release as they do from the ToysRUs pack? I just don't want to have doubles of the mane 6 if I can help it, but the completionist in me wants to collect all the cards!
 
Sounds like they're in MA now too, supposedly in a big box with the rest of the MLP toys rather than at some random endcap or register display.

Nope! They are different! The true blind bags backside of the card is a darker pink than the Toys 'R Us version. Also the picture on the front is slightly different with a different background =)
 
Are these just being sold at Wal-Mart and TRU? Does anyone think that Target would have them?
 
Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee found them!!

There's 3 Walmarts within 30 minutes of driving from my place, for the past week I've only been stopping at the one that is between my work and home. I checked four times last week and no luck! (I have no patience lol). But today I decided to call the other two on a whim and one of them did have them! So I hopped in the car and bought 10 out of the 14 they had...which is a lot of me to spend on ponies at one time lol. I'm short on cash as it is. (Heating bills skyrocket in Maine during winter, blah.)

So far I've opened 3 of the 10 I bought haha. I'm having fun making the surprise last. (I didn't look at the numbers when I bought them, either!) Here's Rarity's backcard story, Ravenfeather:

"Rarity knows how to add sparkle to any outfit! She loves to give her friends advice on the latest pony fashions and hairstyles."

So far I have Rariy, Flower Wishes, and Firecracker Burst. I could wish the paint jobs were a little nicer on the mane/tail area, but the eyes and symbols are nice and clean so far, anyway. Rarity has a little chunk taken out of her display-side ear though. >.<

Same backcard story then. Sweet! I had picked up all but the mane 6 yesterday, because I have the Mane 6 from the ToysRUs pack. Might pick up the Mane 6 for my nieces though, and keep the cards for completion's sake XD

It wouldn't surprise me if Target got them. I had to go to Target for something else yesterday and checked thouroughly in the toy dept and by the trading cards and other blind bag stuff. I didn't find any. None in our Walmart yet either though.

Wow I got one of the 3 special glittery ponies in one of the packs and... was anyone else expecting, like, the plastic to be translucent with glitter mixed in it, like the old Sparkle Ponies from the 80's? That's what I thought they would be. Instead I get a clear plastic pony covered in glitter that is glued on. o.0 Of course it immediately started coming off on my hands... so I put her up on my display shelf and stopped handling her. Honestly, Hasbro, why do you do some of these things? Was the "slather glue and glitter all over" method cheaper? Probably.
