'Blind' bag style Ponies in UK

I always like to check out my local Tesco store for toys... mostly for my ever growing son, so when my partner showed me he bought an Applejack blind bag pony to finish his collection I said "that was lucky, you could have got any pony" and he said "nope, I made sure it was Applejack. Go to Tesco, now" and I did. This is what I found:

We already own Pinkie Pie, but figured take a close up anyhow. She comes in the set you can also buy in Tesco and other UK stores selling Pony branded toys. Apple Jack and Fluttershy (better known as Rainbow Dash recoloured...) aren't in the pack.

I was a tad confused because everyone in USA shows these as being in bags where you have no idea what is inside. You can't see in the cropped photo but near these ponies is Polly Pocket who has blind bags, so it's not like we as a nation don't sell any form of blind bag toys... weird!

I forgot to check the price on these... sorry *idiot*

Love to hear from other UK pony fans :)

PS: A note to UK Pony fans please be careful if you do take photos in Tesco as they WILL kick you out for 'price checking'. My local store doesn't seem to care much, but my store is weird.
 
we have those in Canada

I have found everyone BUT Fluttershy for some reason! Not sure if she even exists! (I mean, I know she does, but not on that packaging)

We had those exact same ones this past Spring at Big Lots stores in the US. Same packaging and everything. They were $1.99 each. There is no Fluttershy in that set, which is why the blind bag Fluttershy went for so much money when the blind bag ponies first showed up on eBay.

Xmas Tree Shops in the US are carrying these at $2 each. They can also order them for you if you go into the store; they come 12 to a case, presumably 2x each of the mane6, so Fluttershy should be available.
 
I emailed Hasbro and according to them Blind Bags "will be available in selected Tesco stores in the coming weeks" XD XD XD can't wait!

Awesome-sauce.

In my local store they moved the Ponies from a small Boomerang stand to a proper shelf area in the toys section. Before there was barely any single ponies but there's tons now. We have the mane 6 now and been restyling their hair.

Haven't bought anymore Heinz MiP hoops in ages... Winter has made me too lazy to feed my son stuff that's so messy!
 
Cant wait! Will be a nice treat when I do my shopping! I picked up the set of four they had, but haven't seen these, are they with the toys or some place random (normally wih the juice!)
 
Went to Tesco today and can confirm the price of each of these ponies is £1.97. Also went to Smyths and found something I had not seen before that had to be recorded. Shall have to upload the video later! :)
