am i the only one who notices the wave twelve blind bags have little clear window at the top of hte package o nthe back you can use the see hte cutie mark.


that is easier for me to use than reading the cheat codes on the bag.
 
I totally agree with you on this. Its nice that you can see them. I never could read the numbers on previous bags due to eye sight problems. Its was so hard to figure them out.
 
yes i have hard time angling the packages to read the cheat codes but i was able to find three of the four ponies i wanted today
 
I wonder if they added the window to prevent people from opening them to see which one it is. I've heard thats becoming a problem in some areas. They stopped carrying them at a Fry's near me after I saw tons of opened packages.
 
i know it is problem with the lps blind bags too when i was feeling bags to try to find the chihuahua in the crown. i noticed there were three open bags the and critters were in the bottom of the box.

i've seen open mlp blind bags with only yhre ards left in them from the previous waves

I was at Walmart the other day and absolutely every blind bag was open and no pony inside. It was horrible. It makes me wonder if with the theft issues as high as they are with those things that they will eventually just quit carrying them. People even tore into the Lalaloopsy multi packs and took certain ones out and left the rest. I was shocked. I guess the green men in charge of security are sleeping in between donut runs.
 
@tulagirl it's really sad to think they might have to stop carrying them because of that. can't those people just look up the codes or just fork over 2-3 dollars for one :confused:? Hopefully the windows in the back of the new ones will help the problem with them being opened.
 
I was at the Walmart a few days ago and somebody had been looking at the cutie marks in the widows of the bags so it made it easier to find the pony I wanted. The ponies were positioned in the bag in such a way.
 
I believe in some of the new bags you can position the clear part so that you can make out the name on the card inside. Only one Walmart of the three in my area that I've checked carry any MLP blind bags. Very frustrating, but if they're being opened now I can see why.
 
all the locations in tulsa carry them just not all of them have the wave 12 poonies a few of the stores in tulsa still have wave poomies. that might only be the kmart that is closing down
 
I don't know, I feel so weird standing in the toy isle feeling up the blind bags, peeking through the plastic. I dislike being stared at lol. I can just see the kids looking at me like, "what is that chic doing? Mom....their is a weird woman on isle 6!!!" So, the best time to go when you are like me is 3am. LOL
My DH said that the Walmart Manager told him they were getting tired of people coming in and buying all of the new MLP's and Lalaloopsy dolls in one haul. So, they are controling what is out on the floor and avoiding the peek selling hour so everyone gets a chance to have one. Apparently one person here is an ebay flipper and buys everything that is new and leaves the shelves bare. This was not okay with the manager. He can't really stop her from buying, but he is getting a lot of complaints about no merchandise being on the floor. So, they are just not putting the new stuff out at the same time as before. He was pleased to see my DH finding some lalaloopsy dolls on my list because, my husband made the comment its so rare to find them. Thats what started the entire converstion about this one person taking everything. This tells me that the company is very aware of what is going on with these toys and they do make changes when they need to.
 
That uncomfortable feeling checking blind bags for the ponies you're missing is even worse when you're a guy! LOL :D
 
If you can tell which ponies they are, are they really blind bags any more?
 
I like the little clear spot on the packaging. I can see which pony is inside rather than squinting at codes or feeling up packages. It's really hard to see the codes on the packages sometimes and I've ended up with doubles.
 
i am debating buying rainbowfied pinkie pie from the seller in china that i bought the first of my bumblesweets from. the only problem is she doesnlt have the card.
 
Yea well the way I see it is its no different whether you look through a clear window and try to read a code; they probably have not been blind bags for the pony community for years. They are only blind to people that buy for kids and have no idea a pony community exists. To these people ponies are only a kids toy lol. They would be shocked right? ROFLOL
 
it didnlt bother my mother being in the hasbro aisle at toys r us until a woman with a four year old daughter showed up
 
Being new to MLP collecting, I had no clue about codes or clear windows when I bought my first four "blind bags." LOL Luckily they were all different. I knew about the windows with my next batch, but got confused going through them all in the store and wound up getting three doubles. On my last run I printed out pics of the ones I wanted and took the page along with me. :) That helped a bunch.
 
i never mention the pony commnity to my mother boyfriend because he's in his early sixties and he actually refered to my little pony as only being for four year olds
