Blossomforth - is she worth the high price?

Hi everypony,

I'm looking into buying some G4s for September.
September 5th is my 29th birthday... ugh.. I'm sooo old!

Anyway, on ebay - Blossomforth can be a little pricey.

My question is:
Is she worth the price?

Is she no longer in stores?

She was featured in an episode of the show, so that makes her already much more valuable to fans of FiM. She probably isn't available anymore in the US, since they playful ponies that are being shipped out now are the Pony Wedding guests.

You might be able to find her at stores that don't move a lot of product (like K-mart, CVS, Family Dollar and Walgreens), but not "popular" pony destinations like TRU.

She also has a "bangs" version, which didn't have a very wide release, since it was right at the end of the bangs phase, so the bangs version will be worth more money.

I have an extra Blossomforth. I've been hoping to trade her for a Lily Blossom.
 
Check Krogers too. I found a lot of hard-to-find ponies there.
 
you should still be able to find her for a "non BRony price" somewhere, esp on the forums if you hunt diligently. Maybe more than retail, at this point, but not over priced.
 
I know after a year when G3 ponies first hit I found the first set like Kimono and Minty at a Pamida. I think I bought the last 4 kimonos they had.

Lily Blossom and Blossomforth were two of the girls I got recently, but both were the last there... and I'm in Australia, so we seem to get the brushable releases last. So I'd say no. For instance, we still haven't got cherry pie, sunny rays or lyra. So you'd be super lucky to find one on stores IMHO. The only new stock we seem to be getting is what the nightfill find kicked under the shelving!
 
If I see either, I'll grab them, but I'm sadly not holding out on seeing any more. I wasn't planning on collecting new ponies after core 7 went crazy, but the g4's got me in the end, so I started late, and it was such a scramble to get the 2011 singles, and most of them were gone after the toy sales in july, replaced by the wedding mane 6 and playsets. I got my very last one, Dewdrop dazzle, on monday night, when they were restocking at mr toys. They seem to only have playsets, and pulled 3 singles from the back of the shelf, AJ, Pinkie and Dewdrop as they were packing things in... I snatched her up and ran to the register, LOL! Kmart near me only has half a dozen singles, all the mane 6 (and my Lily that I bought) and BIG W only has the wedding ponies. Target is a mixed bag, with mostly the wingers, playsets and princesses. Blossomforth I got from a Target on the other side of town, but she was the last one, too, they're disappearing from everywhere! Hopefully, though, that will signal the release of the new non-mane-6 singles!
 
Thanks. My mom said she went to 8 Family Dollar Stores, and there was no sign of Lily Blossom anywhere.

I think the Family Dollar Stores only have the wave 4.

I found all of wave 1 and Cheerilee with bangs (wave 2) at the only Family Dollar near me. My mom found all of wave 3 and 4 at the ones around her. I guess it just depends on what was left over and where.
 
I saw Blossomforth, Honeybuzz and a few others at Toy R Us today. I go there pretty often these days because I am waiting for the new wave

Lily Blossom was one of the G4s that I don't think I ever saw in stores around me. I ended up ordering one for my goddaughter for her birthday last year. So with her being released a year ago... it's probably going to be tough.


Blossomforth I haven't seen since at least two months ago. But my area is not good for pony collecting.
Personally I think she is one of the more attractive of the G4s.
