Anyone collecting the Build-a-Bear MLPs?
We never really intended to, but between my daughter and I, that's kinda what we've ended up doing. LOL They bought me Pinkie Pie for my birthday. She got Rainbow Dash for hers. This week she got Twilight Sparkle (saved up her money for her) and I got Spike. Now she's saving for Fluttershy. :surprisepony:
 
You made me look, I haven't seen the Fluttershy one yet. :satisfied:
 
I had to go in B A B to see the Rainbow Dash as I saw one outside, wearing roller skates and a frilly pink dress.... yeah... :shockpony:

Then we where horrified by how quickly actually buying anything would add up!
 
Oh, the girl is already proclaiming herself a collector. She's got a lot of ponies from all generations. Of course, she's taken a couple of my G1's... and as long as she's gentle with them they can stay in her collection. :winkpony:

Lily-Ann's Rainbow Dash has shoes and roller skates. You have to buy two pairs of shoes and two roller skates - which quickly adds up to more than the pony. Ugh. My Pinkie Pie has a dress. Twilight prefers to be nekkid. ;) The girl has a coupon coming (just got into the next level of the stuff fur stuff club) so that will offset her costs somewhat - which means Fluttershy will likely have a dress or cape or something.

And once a year, on your BaB animal's birthday, they'll send you a coupon for a free accessory. :LOL:

Seeing how we have amassed this collection (in addition to the two BaB stuffies she already had) we'll likely be in there all the time now. Oy! :rollingeyes:
 
I just looked Fluttershy up- she's the first one I really want enough to get! :LOL:
 
Fluttershy is coming out Black Friday (hoo boy), but she'll also be up for auction at Nightmare Nights Dallas.

Pinkie Pie is re-stocked on BABWs website, too.
 
I really do like the BaB plushes, more so than others on the market. However, my local store is terrible at keeping them in stock. I still haven't seen them have a Spike. So while I'd so rather get one in store I'm going to have to order online. Fluttershy is on my gift list for the holidays.
 
Yup! Mine are in my closet, fully dressed and awaiting a spot on a shelf. I have all three so far, and Spike. :) I'm anxious for Fluttershy to arrive!!!! :)
 
Glad to know we aren't the only ones crazy enough to buy them all at BaB prices. :LOL: I just can't resist them though, so even if the girl wasn't getting them, chances are I would be. So she provides me with a nice excuse. :tongue:
 
I have them, love them and can't wait for the rest! My daughter and I are counting down until Fluttershy comes out! (I also have BABW Hello Kitties).

I find that if you don't buy the outfits, and you use coupons (which I have on every purchase), the prices are extremely good for MLP plushes of that size. What's dirty is BABW raising the prices after realizing how popular these ponies are.

Yeah, I wasn't impressed with the increased price. Totally not cool on their part. But it is what it is... I suppose. And yes, coupons are wonderful! Lily-Ann didn't have one for Twilight, but we do have one now she can use for Fluttershy. It makes a difference. :)
 
I never thought I'd want a build a bear toy... and now suddenly I do, and I'm aaaaall about getting me a Fluttershy. Assuming of course this all comes to Canada, which I think it will... hopefully...

Oh man, just seeing those pictures makes me want to get my mitts on Twilight Sparkle and Rainbow Dash! Where do you get the coupons?
 
They mail the coupons to you once you sign up for the Stuff fur Stuff club... but I have seen them online from time to time.

And I'm in Canada. So yeah... they're all here. :)
 
I just order a pinkie pie I missed out on her a few months ago. The prices is a bit but considering I will never have a 300 doller plush its not that bad lol.
 
I love them! I can't wait for black Friday that's when Fluttershy is coming out!
 
I love them and want them all!! :ponylove:

But I don't collect stuffed animals and will not allow myself to start. I had hundreds -- no kidding -- of plushy critters as a kid. I loved them, but my mom hated them because they were a nightmare to move with and we moved a lot, so when I was a teen she finally convinced me to get rid of almost all of them. Now I just can't/won't go down that road again.
