It seems like forever since I've posted anything new but I'm finally getting caught up on some of my commissions and should be posting several customs before the end of 2009. 
Butterfly Garden was a commission for Bunne who was infinitely patient and really sweet and wonderful to work with.
She was airbrushed black and then given green gradients and highlights. I first gave her a complete set of symbols in shades of green. She looked so pretty with just the green that it took me a few days to work up enough courage to add the pink. Her symbols are also accented with real swarovski crystals. She has been completely sealed with two coats of matte sealer and her eyes have been given two coats of gloss sealer.
She was rehaired with a blend of Nylon and Polypropylene hair from dollyhair. Specifically I used an even blend of Pussycat nylon and Flirtatious polypropylene along with streaks of Virgin Snow and Hot Lips nylon. I was expecting the polypropylene to be just like the nylon but it's not quite as silky and managable. After a shampoo and condition it settled down quite a bit and I probably will be working with it again.
I really hope that you like her because I do.
