I would say Woosie and I must be on the same page this week. I have been working on a commission Captain Jack for a friend and just got him complete. So here is my version of Captain Jack.
He is a big brother, dyed a tan color. He was rerooted with Genuine Katsilk hair which i burnt to get the wooley affect.His mustache and long braided beard were also rerooted and burnt. His symbol was painted with acrylics and sealed. I added a few extras per request and there ya go! I hope she likes him!!!!!!

He's amazing, sevenbelles. & you paid so much attention to detail! BURNING his hair to get a certain affect? I mean, that's brilliant!

Even the Ebert & Roeper of custom pony judging would give that bad boy two thumbs *way up*. :)
 
I love the symbol, and the beaded hair is a nice touch - very authentic!
 
That is seriously SO creative. I never would have thought of burning the hair! I'll bet that didn't smell so great, did it? LOL And of course, the eyes and symbol are perfect. It really does resemble the human Jack.
 
AWWWW! SQUEEEE! He is a total cutie! Looks just like Jack and I love the symbol, he's drop-dead gorgeous!
