I received my first xmas catalog today and flipping thru it what do I see?

dude ineeed that set, i have small hands and i'm short the scarf would fit me :p
 
LOL, our xmas catalogue is due in next week and in 2 weeks I have to start putting out the xmas stock...
the joys of retail ha ha
 
bumping this because i just found out...

if you're considering ordering the fleece set from this company, be prepared to wait a LOOOOOOONG time. i placed my order 8/17, okay? it takes 1-2 days for them to PROCESS your order. then once it's processed, it takes another 7-14 business days to SHIP your order. THEN it probably takes another 7-14 days from the ship date to arrive at your house. it sure would have been nice if they told you this BEFORE you placed an order. plus, the way they word it is kind of deceiving. i thought by "process" they meant "fill and ship". i saw the 7-14 days and figured that was the shipping time. but it's been so long without any notice that my items have shipped that i looked it up... and actually, my order SAYS "ready to ship." but there's no explanation as to why it HASN'T shipped yet. i will seriously never order from this company again. that's just ridiculous.
 
I bought it from ABC, even though it was alomost 100 degrees that day ^_^ It was in their catalog about a month ago. I can't wait to get it!!!

Of course, I spent about $300 in that catalog, ordering lots of overszed X-Mas decorations, so it might take awhile to get here ;)

I think they always do those stupid things. The autumn catalogs with clothes comes out in like June and the summer ones comes out in november. It's so stupid. But maybe because everyone should have time to order for the spring/autumn? Just a wild guess =P

My mom and I order from Lakeside all the time - we've rarely had a problem. I know we'll be ordering again, too - already have an order for Halloween going in, sent an order at spring time too.

My mom loves them. :lol:

The shipping tends to be cheaper the more pieces you order. That's just how it works with them. :wink:

I just got that fleece set in the mail a few days ago. The scarf is big but the hat is too small for my daughter. She is 8 years old and wears a size 7 in girls, but has my husband's big head and can never wear "child-sized" hats. I measured the hat and it is around 20 inches in circumference. The gloves seem even smaller. They measure 3 1/2 inches across the palm and are not really stretchy.

I did get it from Lakeside very quickly though. I had no problems with them.

aw poo, the girl in the picture looked old enough that i figured i'd be able to squeeze into them. :(
