Looking for a unique christmas gift, or perhaps a custom pony to put on your tree as an ornament? Here are hand-crafted customs by me, all vintage g1 ponies crafted as g3 Christmas-themed figures!!!
TRADES ARE CLOSED INDEFINITELY please do not ask for trades
I have a few more customs of this series to make~ but may be produced later on in the winter, will be adding a Merry Treats custom to this thread.
:snowflake:G3 Ice Skater Fizzy:snowflake:
:holly:SOLD:holly:
As the first custom to kick off my holiday themed custom pony project, I decided to do a ice skater Fizzy instead of a roller waitress Fizzy~
Pony base is a generation 3 shy pose, horn is from a generation 4 Princess pony. I pinned the horn in place then secured it around the base with jeweler’s glue.
I now have a new favorite glue.
For the eyes, I cut out the original flat pupils and put them in my sack of isolated pony parts.Who knows when they’ll be needed in a future project~
I then Krazy glued squares of white leather inside the head behind the eye holes, then filled the eye sockets with more of the jeweler’s glue which made a nice smooth workable surface.
Next, I coated the entire pony in Gesso for her paint work to bond to, then did a full body repaint job in aqua paint, painted her eyes in my generation 1 mlp/rainbow fusion style (lol what else do I call it) then hand-painted her cutie marks on both sides of her flanks.
All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp hair in the colors tea rose, white chocolate, old bubble gum and sea nymph. Mane and tail are permanently styled/hardened in my hair gel method!
Skates where boiled off of other generation 3 skater ponies and I was able to fit them on this Fizzy custom. I lined them with faux white fur, then fastened stripes of gold faux vinyl at the tops.
Was originally going to do layered and pleated skirts around the mid-drift of the pony’s body, but I stitched the shiny red material and layered pleated white/gold fabric over top, and it turned out to work best like a fancy shrug.
The skirt idea worked as a nice starting off point, love it when things work this way~ makes my work more original.
Lined her neck with a gold ribbon choker, strung some beads on floral wire as a broach/necklace, tied a shiny green/aqua bow at one end and glued a large pale green star at the other end.
Made a large golden bow for the back of her hair, pinned down a large golden Christmas tree adornment in the middle of it, and fastened a red bow at the top.
Made 2 strings of shiny confetti and beads on floral wire, fastened those on each side of her mane, finished the look off with a few rhinestones.
Tied a bow on her tail with a festive pom pom, and tried to find a close ribbon match to her vintage tail ribbon on the original pony.

Custom pony figure of the generation 1 pegasus pony named Paradise, hand-crafted by me as a generation 3 custom figure in a Holiday Christmas theme.
This is custom #2 of my holiday series.
Pony base is a engineered pose from two different generation 3 ponies.
Body coated in Gesso to create a texture for the acrylic paints to bond to, and full body paint job in white acrylics.
Cutie mark and eyes are also hand-painted in my style. Other painted details on this are the striped beads I made look like candies.
All paint work is sealed in Artists Varnish.
Wings are cloth wrapped over wire, I had them in a package in my art supplies. Can’t remember where they came from, but figured no better use for them, than now. They are pinned in place, with a dark green star rhinestone in the middle.
Mane and tail are rooted in nylon mlp hair in the color firebird, an exact match for the original g1 Paradise mlp.
I curled the hair and permanently gave it shape with my hair gel method.
Accessories- started fastening a festive-colored sash around the belly/back, and fastened silver ornaments around the bottom.
Then, came up with a wreath-like accessory for around the neck. Started off with a twisted rope trim textile, and stitched a thin line of neon green faux fur along the bottom. Tied a triple-layered ribbon/bow around the neck of metallic pink ribbon and burgundy thin ribbon. Took a cherry trinket I made when I was a teenager that I’ve kept all these years, and fastened it with a large gold bell and a green/white striped candy bead I crafted and pinned them on the wreath around where the bow is. I then cut off tiny sections of red/green strings of ornaments, and fastened them in place. Made two strings of beads and fastened them in place on each side.
Stockings- got out a oriental pale aqua material and stitched some of the neon green faux fur along the tops, then folded over wide red/white striped ribbon along the tops. Did a running stitch with the pieces inside out, then turned them right side in, put them on the pony’s hind feet then stitched darker green bows with tiny silver bells in place. Tied a darker green ribbon/bow on tail for contrast.
Made two strings of beads on floral wire for the hair embellishments (consisting of seashells, neon beads and fruit), then pinned the remaining two striped candy beads I crafted into place, then a small strip of gold star string of ornaments, some layered confetti, rhinestones along the hairline then a large silver bow in the back, to finish.

Pony base is custom engineered pose from two different generation 3 ponies. Body of a diva pose, head of a standing pose
Entire head and body has a base coat of Gesso to provide a texture for the acrylic paint work to bond to.
Full body repaint in coral red acrylics, gingerbread man cutie mark also hand-painted, eyes painted in my realism/fusion rainbow style in Molasses’s original colors. Paint work sealed in Artists Varnish.
Mane and tail re-rooted in nylon mlp hair in the colors white chocolate and blueberry muffin.Curled and permanently hardened in my hair gel method so it stays in shape forever.
Bodily accessories-
Started with the cream and gold star piece around the neck. Stitched, then pleated a green scarf material and stitched it to the cream piece. Put a line of silver ornaments around it. Made pale aqua sleeves to go underneath it, stitched from a nice silk material, cream lace hemming the sleeves. Pale green bias tape fastened for the chest piece, a string of gold star ornaments across the chest, red ribbon bow stitched then tied in place with pink pom poms stitched at the ends. Stitched red and green ribbon bows on each side.
Hind leg warmers- Stitched together 4 layers of bias tape in the colors neon red, pale tan brown, pale aqua and chartreuse. Pleated a side magenta/white polka dot ribbon at the top, stitched in place. Made candy canes from red leather and white/green hemp cord and tied a aqua bow behind it and put it on the cutie mark side with a light blue star rhinestone to finish. Other side has light brown paper craft gingerbread men, and a few rhinestones.
Tail ribbon is vaguely the original colors of Molasses’s tail ribbon but I layered more colors in and made a yellow lollipop from a clear yellow bead and yellow toothpick.
Mane- started with putting red and green shiny paper craft stars in her hair then building on that. Tied in some festive ribbons here and there, hand-crafted candies, lollipops and candycanes. Beads are painted stripes, and I tied ribbons to look like candy wrapping. For lollipop, took a cream colored round bead and glued a toothpick for the stick then wrapped transparent blue plastic around it then tied in place with green hemp cord. Candy cane is exactly same method as the one I made below the cutie mark. Added a couple more paper craft gingerbread men, and festive rhinestones on her forehead to finish.

:xmastree2::glitterball2:Sister Stockings:rudolph::holly::snowflake:
Generation 3 custom of generation 1 pony Baby Stockings, but this is crafted from an adult-sized pony so I call this “Sister Stockings”. Could be thought of as a older sister to Baby Stockings.
:glitterball1::holly:----SOLD----:santa:fifi
Pony base is an engineered pose with a body of a core 7 clone pose, head of a different pose. Left original body color on both pieces.
Mane and tail are re-rooted in dollyhair’s nylon mlp hair in the color candy apple, exact match for generation 1 Baby Stockings.
Eyes and cutie mark hand-painted by me in my own style. Eyes are sealed in Artists Varnish.
Attire: Started with the skirt attachment on the left flank. Pleated red/green plaid cotton material, hemmed the top with a nice white material and pleated neutral aqua and olive green sequin scarf ruffles along the bottom, attached a string of shiny red and green plastic Christmas ornaments in the middle with a “stuffed animal” white bear attached.
Pony “doll” attached to tail is a Petite Pony I customized. Severed off the stand with a hoof print on it, and attached it to the middle of a large red bow I put in the mane. Severed off the aqua tail bow and attached it to a swirly wooden yellow piece that is also in the mane. I then painted the old mane and bow on the Petite pony, and changed her cutie mark to a candy cane. Made her a new tail from nylon mlp hair in the color white chocolate and attached it to the tail hole with Krazy glue and made her a new light green tail ribbon bow then curled her tail in my permanent hair gel method. Pony is Krazy Glued to the tail of Sister Stockings.
Repeated the neutral aqua fabric for a under-layer piece then pleated the plaid fabric for sleeve cuffs then used a dark teal cotton fabric for sleeves and torso pieces, lined the bottom of the torso piece with cream lace hem. Layered gold star ornaments and golden rope over top to finish.
Lined white faux fur I trimmed down, across the chest then put shiny pink and gold ribbon straps across the back of the neck and down both sides of the front, and fastened it in place with red holiday fabric flowers, added rhinestone detail and silver ornaments for a necklace.
Mane embellishments- Started with stringing lightbulbs, yellow pastel ribbon bead, pink bead and flower beads on floral wire and attaching to mane. Painted white stripes on green beads to make candy beads and tied green ribbon inside them to make them look wrapped. Tied and glued ribbon in square-shaped beads to make beads that look like presents. Finished off the look with various ribbons tied in place, and rhinestone detailing along the forehead.
Dress shoes are teal ribbon wrapped around the hind legs with bows tied, soles are dyed purple leather glued in place then smaller ribbons tied at the tops, some flower beads pinned in place then rhinestone detailing to finish.
