Wow, have you ever attempted a project and wondered wth you were thinking? Well, this is that project lol.
Presenting Clockwork Legend, a reposed rearing unicorn steampunk custom (say that 5 times fast!)
This gal started off as a bore 7 pose Strawberry pony. I cut her up, much like in my tutorial, and attempted to dye her a dove grey. They plastic however, had other plans and I had to scrap that idea (worst dye job ever!) Then I had to figure out what order to build her, as with sculpting the neck she was permanently sealed shut and I couldn't go back at that point.
On a side note, I really was tempted to call her the Last Unicorn lol. I doubt any would follow after her hehe. And I could finally saw I added my TLU custom to the lot, but meh.
I used apoxie sculpt for her \"plating\" and real gears and chains and whatnot for her parts. Her symbol is a cutaway and shows another blue \"power crystal\" inside her. She also features the beloved Twinkle Eye of Doom.
Her hair is dollyhair Chocolate pudding styled in an elegant semi-Victorian feeling up-do. Her tail is ornamental and not used for support. (Look ma, two hooves! lol) I attempted a bronze sculpture look to her final paint job. Her horn is an awesome screw. She is a pony that has driven me crazy. A good learning experience.
and before I ship off her sister tomorrow:
She is available on eBay:
