Comic-Con pony....To open or not to open...

So, I got my Comic-Con and she RULES. Being a huge comic nerd and superhero fan, I'm so pumped.

BUT! She is MIP and I want to take her out, but not if she is really super hard to find. I'd feel bad if I did that and she was really hard to come by. You guys know more about G3 than me, and as a G1 collector and not G3 collector, I don't know peanuts about the new pony values.

So...yay or nay? Should I keep her in the package? Will I regret removing her in the future? I know that no one but me can really know that, but I hold a pony's value in pretty high esteem. I don't want to make a huge mistake.

keeping her boxed may keep the value up, but you'll never be able to look at her. I am awaiting mine in the mail, and I'm opening mine, and I keep all my G3's MIB.

I am also like you, HUGE comic nerd, I have far more comics than I have ponies. My son is even named after gambit from the x-men (no his name isn't Gambit).

He does come in a baggie so you could open the box but keep her mint in bag.

I'm lucky I bought 2 of her so I opened one She's so awesome and a lot of fun out of the bag. But if you're worried about her loosing value, do you really see yourself selling her in 10 years? The only reason value even matters is if you play to sell it again, if she's for you and your enjoyment only, why keep it boxed up?

yep, his name is Remy. I have always loved Gambit, and the name is different without being TOOOOO different.

I'm glad you opened her. Mine came in the post yesterday. Woo hoo! I haven't opened her yet, but I will soon. I actually have to give her to my mum, as she was the one who payed for her, and I'm technically not supposed to have her until my birthday which isn't until November... sheesh.
