Comic Con Sold Out on HTS

Ouch! They must be doing priority so it's tracked? I'll have an extra if you want to pick one up from me =) I'm sure we can find SOME shipping method cheaper than $32!!!
 
I just noticed that too! It said $0 shipping until after I logged in. $39.99 for one pony? I'll pass.
 
It's not even that it's priority or anything, it says standard shipping. I know they are over charging because I've had some lovely Americans send me MIP exclusives before and shipping was always around $7 TOPS. It's just disappointing to get gouged from a big company.

Rist, I might hit you up if my current plan falls though lol
 
I ordered mine. So excited, this is my first special edition pony. Like I said somewhere else, the eyeliner got me.

Now I want other SDCC and Toy Fair Ponies! It's a never-ending addiction.

Not likely. I just bought the one comic con pony, used the 10% off code and I got free shipping. It came to $14.33 after tax. We were trying to figure out why some were charged shipping while others got it free at the Arena, and so far, we can't think of anything. Maybe it had to do with payment method? I know sometimes online stores have deals where if you use a certain credit card you'll get free shipping or entered in a contest, or whatever having to do with some sort of partnership. My mom won a $5000 gift certificate on one of those travel sites just because she used her MasterCard at Burger King once. And we didn't even know about the contest at the time. I didn't see anything about anything like that, but it's happened at other places before so it may be a possibility.

The other thing it may have to do with is when we ordered. I know I got the pony in the cart after lots of refreshing yesterday when the site kept getting timeout errors. Once it was fine, I checked out, but it already had $0.00 listed as the shipping cost when I put her in the cart, so maybe it was a glitch.

I'm not sure--I did, and I ordered 4. I put my order in a few hours after they were put up for sale, and paid via credit card. I didn't use ANY codes.

So I really don't know why people are getting different prices o_O Maybe someone should contact Hasbro and ask?

Did anyone use coupon codes??
I used MLPTEN and got charged shipping... maybe if you used the COMIC2011 code you got free shipping?
And if that theory isn't true then.... Hasbroken lives up to their name once again? XD

Already tried that one. It still charges me shipping. Even tried not using any codes, still $10 in shipping.

I used MLPTEN and got free shipping. I'm just going to guess it was a glitch. I think most of the people who ended up getting free shipping were on around the time the site was slow and kept getting timeout errors.

Those of you that were charged for shipping, did you have a choice in shipping method? When I ordered mine, the drop down box where you're supposed to choose a shipping method only had "standard" listed. At the time, I thought maybe it had to do with the free shipping and didn't think much of it, but now I'm not so sure.
 
I ordered this a few days ago and I never got a confirmation e-mail, and my account hasn't been charged. Did it take anyone else a while for the transaction to show up? Should I give it a few more days?
 
Yeah my paypal payment is still "pending" and nothing has shipped. It does say 2-3 business days so maybe they're just slow. And fwiw, I used the Comic2011 code and got free shipping on my pony. Maybe all the site errors on Wednesday did cause a glitch.
 
I hope it ships soon. I just checked my order and it still says "Not Shipped" even though it says its expected to ship by 7/27. I'm guessing they probably don't ship on Saturday, so it looks like it won't go out any earlier than Monday.
 
Yes, I checked on the site and mine says "not shipped" as well.
 
That's weird. I place an order yesterday with HTS (no CC pony though) and it shipped today. I wonder why they're being delayed?
 
I ordered Tuesday and just got a confirmation earlier this morning that everything had shipped =)
