cotton candy hallmark ornament

hey, everyone! i was able to make it out to a hallmark store today (about 30 minutes away from me) to take a look at the cotton candy g1 christmas ornament. it's really gorgeous and i'm planning on buying myself one in the next week or so. it occurred to me that it might be smart to buy a duplicate for later sale/trade. what do y'all think of this? i think i might be buying in to the gimmick of something being a "collectable," since a lot of times these things take years and years to go up in value.

It never hurts to pick up an extra of something new or exclusive, especially since members here from other countries may appreciate some help in finding something they otherwise may have trouble getting ahold of

And I am all for people buying more of that ornament! I just got mine today and it's so cute! I want everyone to buy one so the company will decide it was a profitable release and they will make more G1 ornaments in the future. I must have a Moondancer!

thanks for the advisement, y'all! i hadn't considered that i should be aiming to support this so we can get more g1 goodies! i think i'll shoot to buy a duplicate and hopefully i can end up helping a collector out later. oh... and if any international members see this and would like me to pick up a cotton candy i'm happy to do so! just send me a pm.
