I have always wanted to do customs. Lol i only did it once and it turned out an absolute disaster. That poor gusty pony is still purple. With chipped warhammer paint. I totally feel sorry for him. But he sits on my shelf with the others all sneaky and misforgiving. Can anyone point me to a good guide or have any good advice to a new person to the pony custom realm. Like what to use as paint. Etc.

Ohh absoultely fantastic. I can tidy up my existing ponies too.
I just don't know if i ll find the time for it. I wonder approximately how long it takes to clean, wash, repaint a pony. I guess it will get quicker as you get more accustomed to it. I am quite excited now though :) Sorry that i did nt browse the FAQ. I will do now though :D

Looks like i need to get some equipment xD
Thankyou for these guides too. Im bookmarking them all to look at as soon as i have a good few hrs.
Experiments can be fun :p til they go wrong xD

lol, I never know how long my customs take because I always do them in spurts when I have days off, or late nights off....I have been known to customize until dawn. LOTS of caffeine, unless you are painting details then---well no caffeine unless you can help it. I love using apple barrel and the like cheap acrylics for paints. I use a triangle makeup sponge for full body repaints or an airbrush if I am doing fades. You can actually get the propell driven ones for about 30 bucks or so. Doesn't have to be too fancy. I also use 0 and smaller brushes to paint the symbol details. hmmm....I guess I have a ton more tips, just ask away if you want to know anything :)

Wow thats brilliant, i will certainly be coming to you for tips when i want to patch up some of my ponies :D
