I love to see custom ponies, some are cute and fun, others are pure works of art. I cannot custom myself, unless you count making EQG clothes LOL, but I certainly appreciate others and have purchased a few custom made ponies for myself. Here are some of my custom herd..

Regarding the debate around which pony/s to use for customizing, I find nothing wrong in taking a commonly found flawed pony and giving it a new lease of life as a custom pony.

Just recently saw a stained and spotty 4-speed online for sale, and the seller knew he was bait but couldn't bring herself to put ol' Trucker under the knife/acetone herself, so she listed him. I can concur a bit, since some ponies are hard to customize when they still obviously have some life left in them. A really cute idea for this dude I thought would be, paint "mud" blotches and splashes over his damages to give the effect that he'd been out truckin' in the mud! Then he'd get to be display able again, AND keep his identity.

That'd be such a cute idea!

I adore customs and I catch myself surfing the net going ohhhhhhh ahhhhhhhhh ooooooooooo lot. There are so many beautiful customs out there it's overwhelming!
