Hi guys!
I'm curious... Has anyone helped a damaged Unicorn?
By telling 'damaged' I mean their horns cut off :(
If anyone has done this before, post a pic pls so we can see the result! :)
I might customize a poor baby Moondancer..! :wink:

I have! I'm no espert with clay though, and this was only myfirst try, so I'm sure other people could do better :wink: !

Of course, it's up to you if you customise her or not, but I personally have a love of hornless unicorns (because of our dear Powder mentioned above) and wish that I could find some more of them to restore!!! If you should want to part with her, remember me :lol: !
 
I haven't. I try to stay away from damaged ponies. Well, unless it's minor damage. :? I find it sad for them to have their horns cut off. >.<

Pink Sunsparkle, me too! But I feel sorry about unicorns..! I mean it's their horn! If they don't have their horns, then they loose their magic! lol :wink:

Powder looks great Lancer. I'd say you did pretty well for your first attempt!

I have a poor hornless Skyflier who could really use a new horn... and a new eye :p She has the paint of one eye completely rubbed off. Poor thing.
 
I don't have any pictures but I sorta fixed a damaged uni! By sorta I mean I turned her into a earth pony. I had a (oh shoot, the purple color changing hair one with the beach balls), any who her horn was half gone so I cut it off completly, sanded what was left down, which unfortunalty put a hole in her head. I used bake and bend sculpty to fill that in and made it flush with the forhead, then painted another beachball on her forhead.

I replaced my Sparkler's horn. When I bought her more then half of it had been chewed off, poor thing. So I made her a new shiny horn. :D

Hum... the only picture I have of her is a few years old. Evident by the fact that the old scanner I had at the time did something weird with her hair. :eeek: Oh well, you can see the horn anyway. :wink:

Thanks Marios, I'm so bad with pony names!! I'll see if I can get a piccy of her, I gotta remember where she is hidden.

Raven that is so neat!! Is it beads with a pin or something! It's very fitting for Sparkler! And what is with her hair, Wow look at that color.

Yup its beads and a loose earring.

I recently got a Skyflier with a missing horn that I am going to fix the same way. Although I can't decide if I should use white beads again or another color? I was thinking of using red beads as I have a matchless red earring that I'm going to use.

If anyone is interested in how I put the horn together I would be happy to take step by step scans when I make Skyfliers horn.

If I ever come across a hornless unicorn I'll have to have a go myself. Right now all my CBs have been a little more intact than that, though, heh <.<

Ehee...I like Powder's remake, too X 0-) For some reason her horn makes me think of an ice cream cone plopped upside down on her head--which doesn't do it justice at all (though I can't get it out of my head now what an "interesting" sundae best pony this would make, lol) 'cause it's a lot cuter than that--a leetle bit stubbier than the original unihorns, I think? but I like that! May just be the pics' angle or something, heh... and her symbols look great! Not that I'm any glittery symbol expert, but I doubt I'd have notice anything amiss if you hadn't mentioned you'd repainted them *g*
