Does anyone collect like this.....

I was wondering if there is anyone out there that only collects adult ponies or only baby ponies. Like chibiusa789 only collects princess ponies and mail orders mostly. Or do you only collect taf ponies and that is the only ponies you want to collect from the mlp series.

I personally think I'm going to trade all my adults for baby ponies. I really favor the baby and newborn ponies. Anyone else like that?

In my opinion that makes collecting mlps easier. lol :wink:
 
When I was actively collecting, I really did concentrate on babies, princess ponies, and TAF's. I have a little bit of everything...but I do have an overabundance of babies, TAF's, and princess ponies.
 
I like the rainbow haired ponies mostly any generation.

I just collect what I like. That keeps it easy enough for me.

I focus on yellow and purple ponies, but also have most of the earlier ones (G1 only).
 
I'm into all g1's and g2's, and *some* g3's. I collect what I can afford at the time, and that keeps me really busy and I don't get bored :D

Spottedmiss you and I are alike with that same idea of collecting. When I first got back into collecting when I was 12 I wanted them all. But then I came to realize alot of ones I didn't really care for where taking up all my space in my room. It was a serious over load of ponies. :D
 
I personally with the new G3's only collect the ones i like but the ones i must have are...

Babies
Breezies
Unicorns
and
Pegasus

Ponies 8)


other than i know i'm missing that one Euro breezie already :oops:
 
I forgot I like winter themed ponies too. :lol:
 
Well for moneytary restraints and a lack of space, I try to stick to the boys. Preferably the adult boy ponies though I won't pass up a good deal on a baby. I also keep an eye out for G3's I really like and pick them up from time to time. But I really want to focus on the boys more so.
 
I collect all ponies from all generations. I don't actively seek out any particular ponies or types. If I find a pony at a yard sale or thrift store I buy it. When trading I get any pony on the either persons list that I don't have. If every once in a while I happen to see a really great deal on a group of ponies on eBay I bid.

So I guess you could say I'm a rather laid-back collector. I collect them as they come to me. :D
 
I collect all G1s, but I do go through different stages where I really like a certain type of pony and get a bunch of them. Then it changes, and I focus on another type. I just go with the flow. Keeps it fun and interesting.

For example, way back when I first start recollecting I wanted ponies from the movies/episodes I had seen. Then I really wanted Big Brothers & Baby Brothers. Then it was the flutter ponies. Then TEs, and well you get the idea. At the moment I am into international baby ponies, my poor bank account. :p
