I figured instead of me creating threads for every little thing I do, I'd have my own dedicated drop-all thread where I can randomly add updates and such. Hope its OK?

Sugar Apple came with Mimic weeks ago, she was in the light box trying to fade some pink highlighters. It faded, but not all gone on her lips. The others faded to where I can't see it. I decided to give her a break from the box, and I am eager to get her on the shelf already. Her hair was matted, I had to give her a good condition, and straighten with a straightening iron, then I curled. I made the curls too tight, I hope it'll loosen and fall over time. I ran out of bobby pins to curl the past part of her hair, but I am thinking maybe I'll leave it straight, it's cute.

Buzzer was cheap. One wing was bent. A little heat from a blow dryer and tucked it behind her ear should fix it. She was also frizzy and matted. A portion of her tail seemed to have melted, it came out in chunks when brushing. But thankfully curling hid the flaws nicely!

** QUESTION FOR THOSE THAT CURLS HAIR ** @Tak maybe?
The part closest to the body, I don't like how the curls pop out. Is there a trick to making it look more natural? You can see on top of Candy Apple's head and her tail that it just looks... fake.. for lack of better terms. I want to try to get it to sit nicer. I somehow succeeded on Buzzer, its the look I want, but I used the same methods on both. I'm confused lol

Theyre gorgeous! <3 Honestly Sugar Apples curls may relax with time to look more natural. When I curl my ponies and dolls hair it usually relaxes a bit. Did you curl her hair overnight or set it with hot water? I dont usually set my ponies hair in hot water so im not sure how relaxed it will get.

If youre curling pony hair that came straight then heat definitely holds it better but if its a pony that came with semi or completely curly hair in my opinion you don't need heat. I re-curled a lot of my ponies hair when I was in highschool maybe 13 years ago and the curls havent budged. Heres a pic of my Chocolate Delight! I took this picture this year and i curled her hair waaay back then. Granted they were done with my 16 year old knowedlege but i think they hold up good! I never used heat, and i think it looks natural. Maybe if youre using a heat setting method you can gently tug on the top of the curls to loosen them the way you want them? Not hard just maybe rub/slide your fingers at the top of the curls to coax it.

I didn't use heat. I straightened her hair first to get rid of the frizz, re-conditioned, and used a straw to curl her hair while still wet at room temperature, not heated. I hope it will relax. I am still new to curling hair

Chocolate Delight looks amazing! The hair held up so nicely after all those years! I love how you have her in a leash as if she will try to run lol

Oh! Then I definitely think the curls will relax some! :D I wouldnt worry so much about the weird bits haha it should mellow out I think, if not you can always coax it.

Haha thank you! It was a trip to the mountains. I was terrified she would fall off the side of the mountain and Id lose her so @AzaleaArt suggested she should have a harness! :lolpony: So i crocheted one lol! I posted all the pics in this thread! I should post more soon!

They look gorgeous! I’ll take a picture next time mine are in curls, though, just so you can see. Also you can always dampen the base of the tail a little to relax them it you want. <will definitely try to get pictures tomorrow>

Yes, please do share photos next time! I want to see your secrets!

So many pretties

I think 3 is best for a set, but several of the individual colors in 1 "match" better to my eye. So I think 3 or 1.

I like 2 cos its a traditional rainbow :)

Hmm thats tough..I think ima choose #3 but the others are also good. If I had to pick a second, #2. :satisfied:

I think the neon and the yellow together is too much for me. Though they both go well with the other colours.
