It's true.
To cut back on the rapid turnover of counterfeit diamonds (I presume), you are not allowed to use the name "Tiffany" in titles for auctions with a duration less than 5 days.
This, of course, includes Princess Tiffany. (As well as cassette tapes from the 80's mall-tour singing sensation of the same name.) I list my auctions at 3-day durations. For some time now, if I have a Tiffany to list, I have had to title the auction "Princess Tiff." (Or worse yet, "Princess Tiffani." Gee-aw.)
When asked for a comment, Princess Tiffany said: "C'mon, eBay. Why you gotta hate? Also, by right I should be Queen."
