Embroidered Merpony

I just got a 4" embroidery hoop and was blanking on original artwork to immortalize in thread so I made this:

based on this gorgeous line art by Naiefae. I'm thinking of adding more detail to the hair... but after that, I really have no idea what to do with it. /facepalm

It's my first embroidery project, ever!

Beautiful work. Makes me want to pull out my embroidery stuff. I usually go for more filled-in pieces, but this is a great example of how stunning simple line embroidery can be.
