I was googling agian, and as always i found a little bit of dirt on that beautiful Pegacorn...The long awaited name!!! Her name is Princess Celestia. Lol Beth you're right.

Since when do we "read?" Reading is reading, no quotes necessary! And come on, ponies are magical, so that one doesn't need quotes either! I'm ok with the actual QUOTE having quotation marks, but lol at the rest.

I do wanna check this show out and see how it is though. I loved the other shows that McCracken/Faust worked on.

I quite agree. It almost sounds ironic, like they're not taking their own product seriously. Okay, a bunch of plastic ponies can't really read. But I'm sure their adventures will be magical. No need for all the quotation marks.

The ponies are kind of nice, though. Does anyone know how big they are - usual MLP size or smaller?

Yes! The miss-used quotes bugs me, too. It reminds me of an email I got at work from a vendor rep that read 'it was so nice to "meet" you folks who "work with" our products.' Huh? I felt like he was belittling what we do.

Anyway, back to ponies - the new style is smaller than the previous G3's. I think they were about 3 inches tall.
 
This isn't really news. There have been several threads on this same set already.
 
Eh I wouldn't be sad if someone accidentally threw them in a flaming inferno.

Well, at least they're getting rid of the large-headed G3.5... right?
 
I'm pretty sure I heard the full sized G4 ponies which have rooted hair don't come out until the Spring. This set is just the one they're coming out with first when the show launches.
 
I need these. Especially the Applejack. So cute! Do we know when they will be released for sale?

I actually like the molded hair, it makes them look more stylized. Though I think that makes them more fun for collectors, not kids.. but I think they will be making ones with brushable hair at some point anyway so it should all be good. I am curious about this new show too..
 
And at least the moulded hair should keep them in better condition for longer - no more haircuts or fuzz!
 
LOL @ all the quotes! I still don't like this breed of "ponies", but the name is pretty cool. (see? my quotes made sense there lol)
