...so I had the opportunity to explore three Goodwills over the past 24 hours.
My haul started with Scoops, who I found at my local store. She's my first G1 find.
The second store was visited on a whim; I had never actually been to that store. Maybe, I thought, they'll have a pony there.
BAGS OF PONIES. I never thought I'd find one, let alone many! I snagged all of the pure pony parcels (I left a couple that had a McD's pony or two mixed in with other stuff) and thought that my luck was surely done.
I even found a bag with a G1 in it.
Then we went to the Walmart and I finally found some Blind Bags! They didn't have the two I wanted but I did wind up taking a Fluttershy. I think I'll have to add the standard Fluttershy to my herd.
On the way back home we stopped at a Goodwill that I have very good luck at. Would I have more luck today?
The pony gods were sure smiling on me! I snagged another Freakish Hydrocephalic Alien Pinkie Pie and a few of her friends. They were all set up nicely standing by each other.
Among the Hasbro crowd stood a lone little fakie:
...and I just couldn't leave her there alone. She's become my little favorite today. I've taken to calling her Hippo because she reminds me of one.
So, in total, here is my epic haul of Ponies (minus Hippo):
Brights Brightly was on my wishlist (!!!), so I'm keeping her. I think I'll be putting the rest in a future sales thread once I clean them up.
It was a day of Pony. SO AWESOME.
