Yeah, she was the only one. Sadly I didn't had the money. WHY DOES THIS HAPPENS TO ME?!

amazing !!!!! i am glad you saw her. now i just have to wait........

Next time I see her, I will take pictures of the UPC (I think that was how it was called) and post it. Possibly I would buy her.

Not a fan, one I'm not nor will I ever be a doll person and two, these don't appeal to me in the least, every time I see them I get this yuck feeling that settles into my stomach and depresses me. I understand it for what it is, competing with MH but they just look odd. I've seen some very pretty dolls but pretty they aint and they remind me of fanart/fanfiction more then anything else.

i understand the marketing behind them and it is smart for hasbro to do. i do hope they will always continue to make actual ponies to.

i never had dolls myseld growing up, i never had a barbie. when they first came out i thought "oh ponies and dolls together"

I'm not reel keen on EQG but my daughter loves them. Makes sense since she is also heavy into Monster High and Ever After High. It does sadden me though that she doesn't seem to play with her brushables as much anymore. I bought her the Walgreen's Nurse pony she had been looking for and when I gave it to her, she opened it, literally tossed in the basket with her others and went to playing with her Monster High dolls. I asked her if she plays with the ponies she said not really, and that she wants to display them. So I don't know. I guess it is a sign of the times?
The dolls I have bought her have been the ones with spare fashions. That has been the biggest hang up for me. To create this new doll, with no extras for it. And now I am torn about buying the newer versions of characters she has because the newer ones have feet instead of pegs.
Some of them are very pretty, but I collect through my daughter, lol. I have enough to keep track of with Ever After High and MLP, lol.

Okay, here's my two cents:
I love the movies.
When the dolls came out, I hated them. In comparison to a Barbie, they were too light and kind of cheaply made for the prices that they wanted, IMO.

HOWEVER....
they are beginning to grow on me now that I've found several in my regular thrift store. Without the clothes and shoes, my original opinion stands (a naked, footless doll? Ugh..... mainly because nothing can be put on them to make them look human(oid) and no Barbie clothes fit!). But the ones I've found with the clothes and shoes give me a different feel because the shoes add quite a bit of weight to the doll itself.

The only one I'm planning to purchase new is the Sunset Shimmer with the wings that I've seen in Target. I'm just waiting until I go to Michigan this coming week to do so because I have a feeling I'll find her a little cheaper than I'm finding her here in Florida. :)

The one complaint I have is that they need to sell some accessories separately, because right now, I have two Rainbow Dashes, a Fluttershy and a Sunset Shimmer with no clothes and no shoes.... and it's absolutely BUGGING me.

oh my goodness

octavia is at my local toys r us here in brossard quebec canada

there were only 2 on the shelf so i grabbed her

Mr. Skeen was with me in a TRU the other day because we had to shop for a baby shower. Obviously we wandered by the pony aisle. He picked up one of the EDG dolls and looked at it thoughtfully for a while, then put it back and said, "I don't care if you spend that much on a doll but I think if you're going to do it, the quality of those "Monster School" ones is better. These ones look kind of ill." And then he wandered off to look at Pokémon or something.

Anyway, I agree with his thinking. I WANT to like them, but I don't $25 like them, you know?

still nothing new over here in quebec canada :(

we have had nothing new in forever

I've recently have gotten into the Equestria girls dolls. This rocking hairstyle line is my favorite, I just bought the other three on Toywiz..I couldn't find applejack any where online but Toywiz and it was 60 :(. I also want the adiago singing doll but I only see her for 99 online..

here are 3 more i found today at my local target . i finally found my sad faced fluttershy and i think she is the best looking pony ever

Euaurgh.

I... Really, really hate Equestria Girls. I don't like the premise, I don't like the reason behind them, I don't like how they get better ideas and gimmicks and characters than the brushables, and the dolls themselves are ugly and badly designed. If you want to compete with Mattel and its doll juggernauts, you can't bring out dolls with less articulation than what Barbie had 20 years ago (the knees aren't even bend and snap!) and make every single face mould the same, and... are they supposed to be fashion dolls? Because their clothes look like they were designed by a four-year-old with crayons rather than an actual design team. Also, the cost. If' I'm paying £20 for a doll, I expect it to be articulated and at least sort of poseable. Not to mention that the quality of the brushables is sacrificed for these anthropomorphic monstrosities.

Now don't get me wrong, I love dolls. I'm a Monster High and Ever After High collector. Also... these are probably better for small children. Fewer small bits to lose, fewer joints to break, you don't have to remove hands/arms/fins to get clothes on and off. MH/EAH/Barbie are for 7/8 years up. EqG is good for small children. That's their one redeeming quality.

Hasbro, the franchise is called My Little PONY. You should be making PONIES.

(Though, hey, Flash Sentry's stock would be good to own. It would look cute on Neighthan and it doesn't look as horrendously cheap as the girls' stock.)

I have to sadly agree. I do not care for the whole pony morphing into a doll line. This is just the whole G4 makes no sense stuff that I can't seem to connect to. I am just patiently waiting for G5 and hoping it will be better. I always feel bad for saying that, but its just how I feel for now. I totally respect those who love these. We can't all like the same things that is for sure.

Seeing that everyone wants it to end makes me feel it's going to end soon. Since every Generation doesn't last more than 10 years (except G1 and G2 in Europe), I think the line still has at least five more years.
