Is anyone else having this problem? I had G1s as a girl, but as soon as I stopped playing with them, they went to cousins. I hadn't owned a G1 since the 80s. I'm armpit deep in G3s, but only recently decided to find the original six ponies... I have four of them now and I'm becoming completely obsessed! I foresee an addiction.

*raises hand* My name is Jessica, and I'm addicted to Tafs.

Not me, I've always loved the originals! In fact I've been meaning to ask my cousins if any of them still have some of theirs they would give/sell me! hehe, welcome the the G1 lovers!

I know what you mean about TAFs! I'm jonesing for a Nightglider and a Milky Way :)

I don't honestly think anyone can blame you with Nightglider, she is such a beauty.

LOL. Same boat for me! Started with the G3's...then I thought...well...I'll just get the G1 Wingers! Now I have almost all of Year 2, 3, and 4!

LOL, it makes me feel so old that there are people on this board that DIDN'T originally start collecting with G1s. Is this the part where I shake my cane and tell you kids to get off my lawn...?

I'm more into G3s right now, just because it's way easier to go to the store and pay $5 for one then to hunt on ebay or try to organize trades through here... especially because I'm out of space and most of the ponies have to be stored out of sight anyway. =/ But there's a charm about the G1s that will always have a very big, special place in my heart!

I was strictly g3 for almost 6 months, then the MD pony meet changed me when I saw baby glory. It started with one and just kept comin. G1's Rock!

I traded a childhood SHS baity pony of mine for a Baby Glory with a haircut and rubbed symbols. I was in LOVE with her!

And yeah! They are addicting. I am always finding ones I want. Hehe.

I started with G1's and then the G3's came out and I've been collecting them since. But I just remembered the Dream Valley website and remembered all the wonderful G1's that I still want.
I am seriously wanting those Flutters....and unicorns...

And then there are the G2s :D :D :D

Give them a chance, they're just as addictive!

Me, I was an 80s kiddle, so there was really no way I wouldn't be a G1-ophile.:) My very first pony was a (now I find) rare Italian Skydancer, then the most serene, gorgeous rainbowmane Flutterbye, and then the front-pose Applejack. :3

Oh yes, the G1's =) I never gave them away and never stopped loving them. They will always be my favorites, the ones closest to my heart :)

Welcome to the club ;)
