Favorite Boy Ponies

Wigwam, Wigwam, Wigwam, definitely Wigwam. Not sure how much of it is bias since he's the only G1 boy I've got. I love everything about him: his color scheme (white hair = swoon), his theme... Reminds me of peaceful campfire nights in the moonlight. Sadly I can't tell exactly how politically incorrect he is, other than being your run-of-the-mill Native American stereotype... Which is not particularly sensible... Waaah, I like Magical Native American Wigwam! Why are you so complicated? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Other G1 boys I really love are Ice Crystal, Thundercloud, and Daddy Bright Bouquet. Tex too, even if not as much. The main thing about Tex for me is his being voiced by Rob Paulsen, which = awesome. Though I read somewhere Rob also voiced Slugger, I think... If it is true, I totally missed it.

My favorite non-G1 boys...
Shining Armor, though I'm with everyone else, what in the name of chocolaty fudge is up with that hair, I saw someone selling a rehair and it was beautiful and I kick myself for not getting him and where was I oh yes.
Lancer, though he never had a toy, I liked his personality in the show a lot.
And one I haven't seen mentioned anywhere, Clever Clover, specifically Prince Clever Clover because G2 started the whole "everyone's a princess" nonsense way before Wysteria declared it, and because everyone loves graceful princely ponies where as original Clever Clover was all like "I got mai lucky hat, so I'MMA GONNA WIN FO'SHO". I kid, I like original Clever Clover too.
I'd say Prince Blue Dream as well, but I don't know, it seems redundant given his color scheme.

For other gens I love Clever Clover, Shining Armor and Big Mac. The later generations seriously didn't give us enough stallions.

I like all of the boys G1 of course-I have Barnacle and Salty and Baby Countdown, not familiar with any other generations. It sounds like the boys are a great hit-seems like most everyone likes all of them :winkpony:
I really like the Mountain Boys-being partial to the rugged outdoorsy type of man myself :ponylove:. I do really like Tux and Tails-he cleans up nice...

:QB: :wigwam: :chief: :barnacle: :tex:

Fun to see we all have our own favourites! :) Must mean that Hasbro did a good job with the ponies appealing to different people!

Baby Drummer will always be special since I´ve had him since childhood, pretty sure I had Thundercloud aswell but he has gone missing. Thundercloud is my absolute favourite and I need to replace him!
Also like Tex, Ice Crystal, Fireball, Chief, Baby Waddles and Baby Leaper (don´t have many of them yet) daddy Berrytown (my sister actually has him and is keeping him as a "toy for her future kids" - thinking about spreading "old rubber is BAD for kids"-propaganda so she will sell him to me! ) and the rest of the male adults in the serie.

It could be that they have a more horsey-look aswell?
If my dolls was going to get a ride on a pony, it felt more natural (ehum, you know what I mean!) to place her on a pony that looks more similar to a horse.
And awesome cute accessories to many of them! :)

I still consider some of my female intended-ponies as boys. And like human kids it should not really be too big of a difference in the appearance of Baby ponies, well especially since they are not too detailed. If the playtime baby brothers was not very clearly "branded" boys (name of the set and their own names) I could just aswell have considered one or more of them as females. Like Baby Waddles - meet Baby Waddie! lol

Hmm... could be a fun project! ;)

Barnacle, Baby Ribbs (even if his name makes no sense), Baby Waddles, Slugger, Ice Crystal

Cause he likes to bbq with his fire breath

and when it comes to Boys who shoulda got toys Lancer and Teddy

My favorite growing up was always Chief, but I'm partial to Fireball and Tornado as well. Sunburst has his good qualities also.
