This was mine. Not rare, but I do love BBE's!
Sellers photo.

What was yours?

Ooh! I got Dazzle Surprise, Love Wishes and Sunshimmer (mint with perfect tinsel) all for under $15! =D and I got g3 Pretty Pop <3

I'd say it's a tie between getting my hands on a near mint Strawberry Surprise ( she still smells aaaaaaaaaaaaaawesome! ), and the three super long hair maned fakies from Dollar General. My pony senses were going off like CRAZY when I stepped in that certain Dollar General! I think I literally BOLTED for the toy aisle and zeroed right in on those 3 girls!

Had my friend laughing her butt off when she saw the full extent of the, "pony senses", in action! It's okay, though... she's the same exact way when it comes to Monkees memorabilia or anything related to regular monkeys.

I keep wanting to reply to this, but I simply cannot decide. :p

Probably Rapunzel. I didn't get a super-special deal on her or anything but the seller was one of the nicest people I've ever dealt with and I can FINALLY cross that elusive girl off my wishlist.

Either that or the oil painting (non-pony!) I commissioned as a reward when I lost 60lbs. THAT is the coolest thing I own, for reals.

DialgaBritesMom: I get teased endlessly when people ask "which is your favorite" when they see the collection and I list off 30, then, think of 50 more. Hahah. This little lady made the post because as soon as I cracked open the box, I was flooded with childhood memories of the first batch of ponies I found at a yard-sale when I was about 4. How much I loved those little accessories and how I liked to lay the bbe babies down on their sides and make them sleep. (I hated baby dolls, but these were horses, so the little diapers and bottles were suddenly fun).
If you have ten favorites, feel free to post away!

Skeen: I think I know what you mean. You didn't get a mad deal (sometimes pay the extra) but the seller was just lovely, and makes you feel that much better about *that* pony being in your collection. My boyfriend bought me a TAF baby for Christmas this past year. It ended for more then we expected, but the lady was so sweet. it was her childhood pony and she even included a note (which I kept too). So happy I got that one.

What's the oil painting of? Mega congrats by the way! I made deals with myself when I started a lifestyle change, with rewards for sticking with it (but nothing amazing like a commissioned piece). The startup was tricky, but those little incentive made me gut it out (and now it's all habit, and easy). I found it really helpful. and it feels so good to earn that reward.

Yes, that's exactly it! I paid what she's worth but with a seller THAT super-nice and accommodating, she was more than worth it. And she cleaned up MINT too, which is why she's so obvious on her shelf. ;)

THIS is my painting, lol!

As a Star Trek lover, and coffee fanatic I love that painting! It's really well done!

 Congrats on the Rapunzel too. Pretty soon she'll be one of the last I need. Hope I get as lucky!

You know, I can't remember the ponies I bought in 2011. Not because I bought too many, just because my memory is that bad.

I'll have to say G1 FF and CF Minties and FF Cotton Candy. Over the summer, I discovered a local vintage toy shop owned by a couple of awesome guys who helped me complete my collectors sets for great prices.

For me it was my baby Quackers with all her accessories even her felt tooth

Skeen! YOU ROCK! I had to send that post to my friends because that was just the darned coolest thing I have seen this year. *3*

I think, and I realize it's kinda silly, but the four ponies I got in 2011 when I came back to ponydom; Pinkie Pie (my first G4, as she was my first G3 years ago), Fluttershy, and Lily Blossom.

My FAVORITE, though, would be Lulu Luck, bought at the end of the year on a Manager's Special of $3. Seeing that made my day. They're all commons but... I had given up collecting in 2010, so, it was nice to kinda get back to it.

Okay well after much reflection, I'm gonna say the G2 Wedding Carriage set (MIB... and I'm probably gonna debox it...)(ducks flying fakies) (<--highlight it with your cursor to read if you dare) and the sparkly/clear blind bag G4s, the sparkly blind bag mermaids (still need a few though); Good Weather, Cascade, Italian white Tootsie, Italian Starflower, (tan) Sweet Clover and the abracadabra G1 Pony wear set (worn by TE Sky Rocket who whines, "it makes me look fat") (*sigh*!). Oh and pearly Baby Moondreamer. Oh wait, *and* mini plushie/ornament Day-of-the-Dead KRR custom *and* KRR "shrunken head" custom, and FiM Honeybuzz. And G2 Trixie with her jester's hat...

I am, however, quite certain there are more. Pony joy, what can ya say.

My best buy of 2011 would have to be the Paradise Estate, the G1 Nursery with the original box, and Sandollar - getting her shell is a goal of mine for this year

Hmm.... my favorite buy of 2011. I would have to say....man this is a hard decision....ummm.....I guess my Beautiful Bows who was my set completer for the hair-do ponies.
