Favorite Childhood Ponies?

I had about 12 or so ponies when I was little, but my favorites were Majesty, his wife Sundance and their son Moondancer (or Moonshine as I called him). They were just the perfect pony family haha

So who were your favorite childhood ponies?
 
that i had myself gusty, wind whistler, sugar sweet, ringlet... long list :p

that i wanted must be princess sparkle, the one that lights up
 
SS Buttons, Princess Primrose, and SHS Bright Night were my favorites, or at least, they were always the heros. I loved Fizzy, Galaxy, North Star, and Wind Whistler too.

I always hated Sweet Tooth and Mimic though. And Magic Star was always a statue because she was frozen in that rearing pose.

I thought her rocket symbol was a jellyfish, when I was little.
So despite her obvious name, I called her 'Jellyfish', 'Jelly', and sometimes 'Squiddy'

My favourites were Chief, his wife Banana Surprise and their kids Baby Northstar and Baby Quackers. With the exception of Chief, I've still got all of them.
 
My obvious favorite was Tuneful. She is the only pony I ever have a distinct memory of picking out in a store as a little kid! I also liked Rattles & Tattles alot, along with Pearlized Blossom, the Chuck E. Cheese pony, and Wiggles.

Edit: I just found childhood photos of me religiously dragging around....Seaflower! I have photos of when I first got her all wrapped in a big yellow bow, and then a few years later when she is in the pool with me and on the way to being a much loved bait! (How could I have forgotten to list her???)

Applejack (my first) Windy (my second - only pony I bought myself) Starshine, Posey and Lickety-Split in particular. Also Baby Applejack and Gusty.
 
My favorite was Glory, because I remember her best and get the most warm fuzzies when I see her picture (she's on the way!). My mom remembers that I played with Firefly a lot, too.
 
always Glittering gem, and Tex they were always so in love, fighting agenst the 'baddie ponies' hopscotch and pretty vision lol
 
First Tooth Baby North Star. :) I had 70+ ponies, but she was the one I played with every single time I played with my ponies.
 
I had heaps of ponies when I was little (I was spoiled ;) ). My favs were Cherries Jubilee, Princess Pristina, Moonstone, Bride pony, Beachball and Barnacle and I still have them all too :D
 
Of the ponies I acutally had, Moonstone was always a favorite. Maybe because she was one of the few unicorns in my childhood heard. (As much as I love Twilight the unicorn I never had her as a child.)

My favorite was always Surprise! I LOVED her neon hair! I remember holding her hair just right so I could look at the tips of it. It was almost like looking at tiny fiber optics, it was so bright! I used to comb her hair into curls. :D

I still have her too. Unfortunately, she's yellowed a little and has random colored spots on her now from being stored with teddy bear shaped sequins. :( It's a shame too, since her hair is so silky, her eyes are so bright, and her symbols show no glitter loss AT ALL! Of course, even if I got a mint one, my childhood one would still sit in a place of honor!

My first childhood favorites were Glory, Firefly and Medley. Later, It was Skyflier, Tic Tac Toe, and Magic Star. The story on Magic Star was that I received her from a friend from my 9th B-Day party. That was the only So Soft that I owned.

I'm currently seraching for my childhood G1 collection at my Mom's, but It doesn't look good right now. :4915:
 
My favoritest of favorites was (and still is) Bluebelle. Although, some of my other favorite included: Lemondrop, Butterscotch, Snuzzle, Twilight, Firefly and Medley. Yup, I have a thing for the early ponies. Then there was Flutterbye and Tickle...the two I loved and wanted so much, but never got as a kid. They were added to my adult collection early on. lol
 
Mine were Minty, ... um, just a sec, I got 4 hours of sleep last night after being up 20 hours ... uh, Wind Whistler, Starshine, Sunlight, Twist, Applejack, Lofty, Butterscotch, Parasol, Starshine, Gusty, Shady, Wind Whistler, Butterscotch ... I just realised I'm repeating myself a lot, but I'll just leave it for my own amusement :oops: :bonk:Minty and Butterscotch were "the twins" when I used to play with them, and they probably got the bulk of my attention, though I used to take Lofty camping with me a lot until she was suddenly and tragically catastrophically ruined. Then, I took Applelack. I wubbed Applejack! Oh, I played with Melody a lot! I wanted to play with Blossom, but my sister played with this Blossom-looking fakie whose eyes terrified me, and I didn't wanna give my real Blossom nightmares dy letting her see my sister's pony.
 
My favourites were Dancing Butterflies, Cloud Puff, Sugar Sweet, Tex, baby Yoyo, baby Bouncy and Milky Way.
