Firsts?

G1: Blossom and Starshine are the two I remember the earliest. Blossom is the earliest I'm pictured with a pony.
G2: I don't know because I don't actively collect them. I just have some around for bait.
G3: Kimono and Pinkie Pie, purchased at the same time.
G3.5: Newborn Cutie StarSong.
G4: Pinkie Pie, Sweetie Belle, Fluttershy, and Applejack, all purchased at the same time. Possibly Rarity too.
 
G1: Sunbeam is the earliest pony I can remember having.
G2: Never had any.
G3: Sunny Daze V and Tropical Surprise II, bought at the same time.
G3.5: I refused to buy any.
G4: Mane 6, bought at the same time.
 
G1: I'm not entirely sure, as I was really young, but for my third Christmas I got some baby pony clothes but no baby ponies, so I must have had babies already. The oldest ones I had were BBE Lofty and BBE Lickity-Split and I remember thinking they were my oldest as a child.
G2: My sister got Ivy and now she hangs out with my herd.
G3: I think it was Sparkleworks or Kimono.
G3.5: Sweetie Belle.
G4: AJ and Rarity.

My first stuffed pony was Baby Surprise.
 
G1: Lickety-Split
G2: If McDs ponies count, Lightheart. She's the only G2 pony I have and she's a McD pony, haha.
G3: Cotton Candy and Strawberry Swirl, hence my username. ;) They were my first ponies ever.
G3.5: Cheerilee and a McD Sweetie Belle. (I found them together at Goodwill)
G4: Twilight Sparkle, Raindrop Dazzle, Fluttershy, and Blossomforth.
 
G1: Locket
G2: Princess Sky Skimmer and Baby Fleur
G3: Minty & Autumn Skye in a Two pack with a pony charm
G3.5: Sweetie Belle
G4: Fluttershy

Locket is still probably my all time favorite pony. Though I have a thing for butterflies so Sky Skimmer and Fluttershy are pretty favored too.
 
G3 Bowtie was my first ever pony, i got her when i was 6 or 7.
G3.5 was Sweetie Belle
G4 was Applejack, Fluttershy, and Twilight Sparkle.
i haven't gotten any g1's or g2's yet
 
G1 or G2: a pinkish pony with yellow hair I think. I got it when I was very little. Wherever it is, it's in great condition because I put it away and never looked at it again. My mother so wanted me to like ponies but I hated them back then heh..
G3/G3.5: Two McD's ponies (both of these were bought accidentally when I asked for hot wheels lol. They're still in bags somewhere)
G4: 2012 Applejack and Lily Blossom McD's toys (the start of my MLP collecting :))
 
My very first MLP ever? I have no idea. I was a kid when they came out in the 80's. I used to take skydancer and firefly in the tub with me and I had the waterfall playset. Since these guys were released the earliest, I would imagine my 1st pony was one of them

I started recollecting in the early 00's when I discovered ebay. Not sure who I picked up first

G1 - Skydancer? The 1st one I remember getting from TRU was plush parasol
G2 - EW
G3 - Moondancer
G4 - The set with the molded hair and spike

G3: Dream Drifter
G4: several, wiped out every Target and TRU I could get to once I decided to start buying them!

My First g1s where Lickitysplit, HeartThrob, And Baby Hearts N dots. I got them all together.
My First g2 was Tipsy Tulip Magic.
My First G3 was Cotton Candy Cafe, With Sparkle works W/ bonus StarSwirl.
My First G4, (None Not Counting Blind Bags)

Technically Blossom Plush Was my very first g1 pony ever too!
I would have said that but I wasn't sure that plush counted ^-^

G3: I think I bought a bunch at once when they were in stores, towards the end of their run. RD, Soda Float, Rarity, Tropical Surprise, Sweetie Belle, and Starsong.
G3.5: TAF Cheerilee and Starsong
G4: Banged Twilight Sparkle

G1: My first two ponies, given to me when I was about two to keep me quiet, were Baby Rainfeather and Baby Ember.
G3: I got Butterscotch when I was around seven.
G4: I got Rainbow Dash for Christmas last year.

G2: Petal Blossom (though I no longer have her)
G3: Winter Snow
G3.5:: none
G4: I don't have regular-sized ponies yet, only Blind Bag ones.
