Flawed ponies need love too :)

Oh my dolls were always dressed, but I didn't care for Barbies quite as much as other dolls. My favorite thing to do apparently, according to dear mom, was walk around with their heads on my fingers. My favorite doll was Mattel Baby Beans. She wore the fanciest of dresses lol. She is still dressed up even after all of these years.

I had one Barbie. She would act as a hostage for our GI Joes to rescue, otherwise I never cared for her. I did have one huge 'kid size' dolls I drug around, as well as Sarah Jane Crabtree my little rubber baby doll. I also had one of those dolls that had hair that 'grew'. I apparently got mad because her hair was longer than mine so i cut hers off. HAH!

I totally ruled that doll.

Another doll abuse: when I was five I apparently begged and begged for a baby I saw on TV. She supposedly felt soft like a real baby. My mom got her for me for Christmas and I promptly bit off some of her fingers and toes! Mom took her away immediately and I never got her back. What came of her who knew?

I was way more interested in my Mego Star Trek dolls and GI Joes. I was a pretty rough and tumble tom boy.

Now I have some beautiful bisque dolls which my friends and family (except mom, she liked them) always claim are ugly and creepy. Fooey.

Great restoration job! I kinda wish I could see what they looked like before you worked your magic on them...

I was horrible to my Barbies as a kid. I cut off hair a lot, and one time I cut open a Barbie's leg to see what made it move. My naked Barbies usually became the dead bodies that Detective Moondancer would inspect (Moondancer is obviously highly skilled at solving elaborate murder mysteries).
