So I received a baby glory in the mail today, that I won off Ebay.
And along with her, there was one of the G2 Mcdonalds ponies. (at least I think thats what it is!)

This is the fourth time I've received a little something extra in a transaction.

So have any of you gotten surprises like this before?

Have you given someone else a free gift?

No offense meant but.... I don't really want one!
It just seems to me, that they are ponies they have in abundance or don't want and people are trying to get rid of them. So I get them dumped on me... now I have to try and get rid of them!

Or yes. Of course. They may truly have wanted to give me a free gift, because the transaction and communication was really good and friendly.

That's very sweet of them but, I don't want to open my package and find a 'present' along with a NM pony. The worst gift I've gotten was an extremely bait pony. That was a real nice find. :doh5B15D:
 
I like finding a little something extra, as long as it's not something nasty and MEANT to be nasty, like a dead thing.

I once opened a package and found a couple dead bugs in with my order. That was an unpleasant find.

However, I've recieved other free gifts, from hair accessories to baity ponies, to some candy. I don't care what it is, if it's meant in a friendly way, I love it.
 
I try to toss in MLP sticker sheets, when I can get ahold of them. :D I like giving out little extras to people.
 
I've gotten stickers, a G3 McDonalds pony from Mexico and extra ponies and even accessories, like a damsel hat or a comb. I like the extra stuff. If I don't want it, I know I can always take them down to Good Will.
 
I've gotten actual G3 ponies before. The lady said that they found extras and figured I'd like them. No extra charge for them or extra cost for shipping. I've also gotten stickers and whatnots. If I don't want something, I just toss it in the 2nd hand bag, but I always think it's a nice gesture. Now if it's religious material...THAT ticks me off.

Me? I try to send a friendly note of thanks. A few months ago I was giving out cute little erasers. I hope I didn't upset anybody!!
 
I have received some really nice gifts in my trades and purchases. We love the stickers and other MLP and non MLP items we receive like note paper, erasers, and even ponies and pony wear. I will also include a gift if I have it on hand. I do try and keep goodies around to do so. I think the gifts are a nice gesture and I enjoy receiving them. :)
 
I've only gotten free stickers from certain nice sellers but that's it.
 
I seem to be the only person who gets 'bad' gifts.
The bait pony I got was revolting!

I wouldn't mind getting stickers instead!!
 
I've never gotten free pony related gifts, but I've bought non pony related things off eBay and gotten little freebies with them. I bought a stuffed Pichu once and I got some neat little Pichu wrist straps to go along with it. I've also received pins, stickers, etc. I think it's a nice thought.

I might be a little disgusted if they put in something that was in disgusting shape, like your baity pony -- but that's probably the only circumstance, really. If I didn't like any of the other freebies, I'd just find someone else to pass it along to. Maybe put it in a package when I sold something next.
 
We've gotten stickers,pony's,puddy etc for bouns.But not from ebay,but rather the great pals i've done business with her on mlptp.And if i have somehting someone would really like and i'm not using it i'll just give it to them.

Exactly share the pony love! I love sending extra things because... I don't know maybe it makes me feel good... I feel that well what goes around comes around...
 
Well as I said, that's very sweet to include gifts but...
I just seem to have bad luck with mine.
Even the extra pony I got today... she's very dingy with crap in her mane. There was a human hair wrapped in among her mane....

Needless to say, I don't think I'll be buying from this person again.

One thing I have found is that MLP collectors are some of the most genourous people, my treasured Baby Starbow was a gift from one of the TP members, I have been so lucky. :)
 
I've been really lucky with freebies.
When I joined Ponycon, a member there sent me Wedding Bells Confetti's dress and veil for free, as I mentioned I was looking to buy it.
I've had a cute fakie included with a couple of Breezies I bought, and a free Breezie with a pony.
Just the other day I won a lot of 3 ponies on Ebay, including Hidden Treasure.
I PM'd the seller and described Hidden Treasure's accessories and said if she could find them, I would love to buy them, too.
She messaged me back saying she'd found some accessories and she had sent them along with the ponies for no extra charge! I was delighted.
I love the fact that some people are generous and kind, and RAOK make me smile and realise that the world isn't such a bad place, really!!! :love3:

I haven't traded much yet but I love to include at least something extra I mostly like to put sweeties in with my trades. I never find any pony items when i need them if i did find them i would put them in! I like the thought of someone opening up a parcel from me and getting extra excited.
 
I've gotten little extra gifts a couple times and it was an awesome surprise! Like Kar said, it really shows a great connection in the pony community and makes you feel like people who are technically strangers are good friends. It's a great feeling. Incidentally, one of my best extra goodies packages came from Kar herself!

The coolest surprise I've ever got wasn't a gift though. I won a pony from BittieBaby right before Christmas and she wrapped it like a present for me! It was exciting enough to just get the pony, but then it had all the fun of a present in it too! It was so funny and highly entertaining! She probably doesn't know it, but that was a hard Christmas, it was the first without my mom and I wasn't seeing any of my own family that year. Her little holiday gesture really meant a lot. It was awesome!
 
I often do trade with a girl in the Netherlands. On one trade she sent me stickers and a free Italian Applejack! On another trade she sent me a baby Tic-Tac-Toe for free. :D
 
I have gotten so many free ponies from this club i feel like a thief! But the great thing about free ponies/heads/baits is you have some trading material! :)
