Freya - Final Fantasy IX (SHS base)

Another commissioned request from a deviantArt member.

Base requested to be of the Sweetheart Sister pose.

Full body repaint in a custom blend of acrylics, eyes painted in realism/anime expressionism.

Mane is re-rooted in Hasbro pony hair in the colors of virgin snow and starlight.

Tail, helmet, leggings, pants, coat and claws are all authentic leather, hand-sewn.
White collar lining is ribbon.

Did my first attempt at eyelets... on the sleeves and shoulder armor.

Blue/tea/yellow/white accessory on the back is all bias tape that I stitched together. Belts are strips of leather, detailed in pearl rhinestones.

Ears on helm are detailed in acrylics.

Lance is a wooden dowel pieced with toothpicks and beads. Blades are leather painted in acrylics.
How I managed to get that to work, is a constant mystery to me...

Haha, Final Fantasy IX! One of my all-time absolute favorite games! Don't care much about the rest of the franchise nowadays, though.

That's really awesome. I've went through your gallery a while back, and it's really impressive! The attention you give to detail is just staggering. Although if I were you (and don't take this too seriously, this is just my personal opinion) I wouldn't have done the claws. They look good, but I prefer characters-turned-pony to be thoroughly "ponified". *braces self* Don't kill me!

If my poor fabric would have survived, I actually would have cosplayed as Freya. I plan on making trance form though since I have the fabric!! Gives me an idea... :3
