funniest or oddest pony names

In G1 ponies, besides these that has already been said, I find Medley as little bit odd name.. also Backstroke (really.. any cuter name for her) and Fifi (she isn't a dog..)..

But backstroke really... It isn't a cute name for pony at all. If you compare that name to other sea ponies names like Sealight, Wavedancer, Sea star, Sea shimmer, Tiny bubbles etc. the name Backstroke is way off from others names. It's like it doesn't belong to be there. Other ponies represent sea and this girl is a swimming style..... That's what I meant.

As for Medley, I know by her cutie mark that it is something to do with music. In my ear the name sounds more like "meddling" (Yes, I know how to pronounce the medley word but still ). And what I got from English dictionary (I checked multiples), the closest to resemble word, in finnish, Medley were blend, mixture, medley as swimming style, cluster and assembly (now I turned them back to english words so everyone can understand) . This all can be because the language barrier etc. that Finnish language doesn't have exact word to Medley...

But that's why I think of them as odd names .

I always thought it was Melody-it was years later I saw Medley and realized I had been reading it wrong.
