In the promo clip "behind the scenes" for Jem & the Holograms, there's a flashback scene where we see a young Jerrica playing with a G1 Cotton Candy, and her friend is holding a G4 Twilight Sparkle.
Not very surprising, given that Hasbro even snuck a G3 Sweet Song plushie in Transformers, but it's always fun to spot ponies
