So I was watching the comedy tv show "Happy Endings" on ABC last night, and G1 Cherry Treats made an appearance! One of the characters was in a little girls room and she picked up Cherry Treats and started playing with her hair. I was like, what is a G1 doing in a little girls room nowadays? Anyways, it was cool!

Yea that is. Have you seen that commercial where the little girl is with her dad and they are doing chores and she say, "daddy can we play ponies?" I love that commercial LOL. All things pony on tv are super fun to catch.

I have never seen the show before but does it take place in the present or the 80's? Funny they chose Cherry Treats to throw in there. Thanks for sharing.

I guess the pony was a hand down from someone older or a flea market find, hehe! Did she have any more ponies?
 
I know! I saw it too and spazzed :D Happy Endings episode "Meat the Parrots", about 16-17 minutes into the show. You can go to abc.com if you really want to watch.

GOOD EYE!! That's definitely another one. Cherry Treats was sitting on the desk below her when they first walked into the room, but I didn't see Tip Toes.
 
Wow...random! Why G1s? You'd think they'd be at least G3 or above. I wonder who owns those ponies...I hope they didn't get thrown out after the episode was shot or something...
 
I totally noticed it too, even paused it and made everyone in the house watch it... I love that she's using a real brush too :)
 
EE! It's Cherry Treats!

I absolutely love Cherry Treats, she's such a pretty pony! I have to say, though, that I think she's prettier with her off yellow body instead of the pure white body. It just works better with the, "sugarberry", hair color.

Back on topic, though, it's so good to see ABC using a G1 pony instead of going for something they could easily purchase in any toy store at the moment. Pure love for the G1 girls! ^_^

Wow, how randomly cool is that for a new show to have! Anyone that saw Paranormal Activity 3 (which takes place in the 80's) may remember a scene when one of the little girls is playing with a green MLP... Couldn't make it out to well -it sort of looked like Peppermint Crunch. The audience started chuckling, really funny moment in an otherwise creepy flick!!
