Finally drew my first G2 pony! I picked Silver Swirl, since she's got such a striking design- I love those swooping swirl designs, she's so pretty! I hope you like my drawing of her ^^ I'm not sure if I should start a dedicated thread for my own artwork- do you think that's more appropriate than posting everything individually as it comes out? Thank you, I'm so glad you like her! I tend to do a first pass with less line weight just to get everything tied down, and then I go back through after and thicken the lines on things I want to emphasize- in this case, the meeting of curves like on her belly and the outside of her hair, and then on parts of the drawing that I imagine would be bigger in comparison, like her hooves and lower legs, if that makes sense! I find it keeps the drawing lively and fun even without color or shading ^^ it takes a little longer than just doing all the lines the same exact thickness, but it's worth it in my opinion!
