I just loved Kala’s G2 Surfer Paradise, and so I asked and she said I could make myself a Glory in a similar style. So this means if you want a Surfer version of a pony, go to her, her customs are fabulous and you all should commission her!
So yes, it’s a Surfer Glory! Argie pink Glory is my favorite of all the Glorys, so I used that as a jumping off point; I gave her a purple streak to go back to the traditional Glory’s color; I added a few extra braids because I like doing tiny tight braids ^^. Then she got a wrist tattoo, and the neat stylized symbol in both purple and pink to mimic the hair. But then I added my own bits of flare with the freckles and the beading!
Gah the beads! Those were the best part and the worst. I now remember why I rare bead anymore-it’s a nightmare! The star on the necklace took me a total 5 hours and 3 tries to do; the first one I was freeballing it and it got screwed up, second time I was nearly done but a bead broke and I couldn’t add it back in because I had too many threads through the beads (you know you can get a maximum of 6 threads through an average sea bead?) so the last and final time I used less thread and I got it done FINALLY! So she had a necklace and bracelet that match, as well as a bracelet that matches the strand in her hair; beach baes like the beading after all.
I know she still needs eye crystals; they’re buried somewhere in my mom’s beading stuff. She was a pink G2 I got in a lot who was nekkid. She was rerooted in DH Sugarberry, Candy Kiss, and Sour Grapes. All painting is sealed, and all beading is “stitched†right into/onto her so it’s not removable.
And as I sad above, she is not for sale and I can’t take commissions for this style; if you want your own Cali-girl go commission Kalavista because it’s her idea and she’s an amazing customizer ^^
