I'm thinking of selling my g3s. Most of them are common - htf. Is there a market for them right now???

About $3 each seems to be the going rate for commons, mint out of box. I'm unsure on anything special.

Thats good. But I mean is there a market for them anymore?

I think so, depends on what you have cause there are still collectors that are looking, as far as prices go I can't say that you might get all of what you put into them back. But I do think some would sell.

I think I'd keep the ones that really meant a lot to me. :) I don't mind not getting what I paid for them :) i don't think I spent more than 5 on most of them.

The market's still there but it's not exactly steady.

Loose G3s can be poor performers and you're probably looking at 99 cents each for a lot of them. Some of the rarer ones might go up to $5 or beyond.
With MIB G3s it's completely random as to what prices you'll get unless you've got something spectacular. I've noticed that the later G3s (the Crystal Princess line seems popular) are tending to sell better for me. They're even selling better than the first line of G3s with charms which you would think would fetch more. I think it's partly down to parents buying them for their children on eBay at least.

Everything is down. Usually when I sell, I get a LOT of pm's right away. I'd usually be cleaned out within a week easy. (G1's, G3's etc). Now, not so much. I think it's across the board that prices are down but especially the store issue g3's that are really unwanted for the most part. People either want g1's, euro g2's or the newest g4's.

I'm sure you are correct there. If I had a lot of them, I'd be listing them locally (kajiji/craigs) in lots for a cash sale. Definitely not worth the effort to sell at .99cents one by one, and dealing with having to pack, ship and the selling fees.

hi

i have been selling my mib g3's for the past few months now on ebay and so far it is hit or miss.

my early release ones like minty, kimono etc have sold for over 10 each. other g3's, like swirly pop sold for 18.
i start my auctions at the price i paid for them, somewhere around 8 to 10 each. i know my ponyville stuff went crazy someone paid as much as 47 dollarrs just for one set and 18 for a tiny little set. it was amazing.
also mib ponies i put up on october that did not sell have now sold in november so i guess it depends on the times.
