G3 Minty Question?

Okay so i was looking at my G3 minty today and compared her to an extra one i have. Mine has red candys and the other one has light pink.
Is there a difference in value? or is one a reissue? Mine came in a double pack with StarSwirl and the other one came with a free video. (not sure if that makes a difference)...

The promo Minty who came with Star Swirl does indeed have red symbols as opposed to the Minty packaged alone, which had pink symbols. I don't think there's a real difference in value, though the MIB pony in this case will have some added value due to being MIB and having the video with her.

But I think they would be equal in value if they were both loose.

really? i was under the impression that the red symboled one was the winter one that came with a movie. though there could be more than one i supose.

i'd check out the G3 refferance libary; there's a whole thread on Minty on there and if it's not there StrawberryReef should know something

I think Winter Minty with the stockings and scarf (I think those were her accessories?) had dark pink. She's a different shade of green than the earlier Minties, so she can be told from them in any case.

Minty has a LOT of variations for some reason--some of the early ones had pink and white striped hair, some just had pink, some have a heart on the display side hoof, some have it on the magnet hoof . . . She's like Hasbro's pony test subject, always going through changes!

I have the original Minty in her box and some other ones. Compared her green color is very gray and her pink is really light. I think Hasbro thought she wasn't blinding enough.
