I got my bait and she is mostly prepped. However she refuses to give up the thought that she is storm from the Xmen. She is holding onto the outlines of her eyes. How can I get that extra paint out of the creases? I've already tried acetone and a toothbrush to scrub it out.
 
Got everything ordered... just waiting on arrival. Man I really wanna get started!!!
 
huray the marks and i think nail polish (yikes!) came off with a good acetone scrubbing (course i was coughing up a lung as i did it ^^; ) now to refind my reff and start painting!

My bait has arrived in the mail. I'm hoping to give her a good scubbing tonight. The hair should be on the way. Yay, I can't wait to get started.
 
How's everyone coming along? I don't need update PMs - just post a general update here or in the group. I... need a serious kick in the rear to be motivated.

BtW... How does everyone feel about glitter? (On your customs, that is.)

My pony is painted and I have her hair, I just need a few quiet hours in which I 'm not driving Mr. Skeen around so I can work on it some more.
 
I finished up the painting late last night and she just needs to be sealed and haired.

lol my motivation was to get her at least 1/2way done before I went on vacation so I'm good :)

I'm ok with or without glitter ;p
 
I'm waiting on a second bait and some hair. All other supplies are rounded up. Just need the second bait to arrive to start.

EDIT- I dont' mind a little glitter.. but I'm trying to stick to what they actually look like instead of my interpretation.

I think glitter is ok. I mean, there are G3's with glitterly symbols, so why not. :biggrin:
 
as long as the glitter doesn't flake off i'm good i guess. as to general update-still deciding what hair to use and when i wanna reroot it. been so boringly lazy these past few days working on random babys for myself XD;

All painted and sealed. Just waiting on my hair to come in. And I like glitter :)
 
I'm just waiting for my sealent to arrive, I want to seal the body colour on before I paint the symbol and eyes :)

I'm thinking of using a liitle glitter just where the G3 has some but I'm not sure yet...
