It would seem from some newly released Toy Fair photos that Breezies are coming back in a very similar form to their G3 origins:

ETA: those build a pony (Potato Head Ponies? lol) sets don't appeal to me, but they look like so much fun for kids! Mix n match... Pinkie pie with wings... **GAAAASP**

Yeah, those exactly! I like the princess pose but beyond Nightmare Moon, I've never had an inclination to get a G4 princess. Until these! How pretty would one look next to my colour-changing lamp...
 
Aw man! So much want!

(Just got the new Rainbow-fied Fashion Style Fluttershy today and I sure wish all their hair would be as soft as the locks she's sporting. Soooooooo pettable!)
 
I wondered about the Breezies...they were hard to find the last time. And I don't think I recognized even half of the EG dolls. Who are all those ponies?

The POP ponies look fun, even with the wild hair.
 
I'm not sure about the changeable ponies, but I can certainly see kids loving them. I wish they'd have as many poses for brushables as they do blind bags, but seeing as the blind bags are probably better sellers, it makes sense.

And I never liked the Equestria Girls dolls, but I must have Octavia, and the brushable that I assume comes with her! That little cello is adorable :D

Those are simply gorgeous! I they make it to retail like that they're must-haves, so much better than the 'crystal' ponies with the translucent bodies and sprayed-on glitter. I still don't understand why they didn't embed the glitter on the TRU two-pack fashion style set. On standard sized G4s I could understand but not fashion styles. It just looked cheap :-(.

I don't know how to feel about the breezies. I hope they have more than one mold for the figures... G4's pose pool is stagnant enough without a palette-swapped army of breezies that seem to have stolen Pinkie's hair.

I was totally on board with the POP ponies until seeing that their manes attach using a single peg. If it were a slot design it'd be easier to make your own manes. I'd still like some for the furniture and houses, though.
 
Thanks for the video links. ^^ I just watched through them - the crystal ones are going to have a snowglobe glitter effect? Hmm... I am curious to see beyond those prototypes!

I absolutely agree that the glitter ponies need to be improved on. Everytime you handle them the bits shed onto your hands, into their manes... everywhere. Eventually they're going to look awful and glitter-bald, unlike the older gen glitter ponies with the embedded stuff. Plus they catch dust. Yuck.

While I'm loving some of the ponies that are accompanying the Equestria girls (the Celestia is to die for) I really resent having to buy a doll I have zero interest in to get them. I wish they would offer them seperately, but they know we'll buy them and boost doll sales, so they've got us over a barrell. Luckily my niece wants the dolls, I guess. I still hate having to pay so much just to get the Pony.
 
The Breezies are cute. :smilepony:

I probably will pass on most of that stuff but I hope little girls will love it.

Ps- I wonder if those Hasbro reps collect MLP themselves or are they just hired bodies to sell the brand... seem like just people who like to sell things, it just happens to be ponies....
 
Too many!! There are TOO MANY ponies!!!!

I am glad to see there will be an Octavia brushable (looks like she'll be with an EQ doll) and those "goth" ponies have my interest...but it's just more of the same! How many versions of each pony can there be?

I am very surprised that they've poured so much in to the EQ Rocks dolls. Glad to see that background ponies are getting their own dolls...but on the other hand, I can't see myself trying to collect all this stuff.

*sigh*
 
OH!!! That little G4 breezie in the last pic! So want! I think I like it better than the G3 ones!
 
OMG Did anyone else see sunset shimmer as a blind bag? I WANT IT SO BADLY!!! If I got one of the breezies.... I would lose it in a day...I want all the glittery ponies:LOL:.
